If you are in the military this is the place to be near memphis tn. It is located off base. The lodge shows its age. The navy lodge in walter reede medical center is way better. But this is a safe and clean place to spend a few nights. These military inn, lodges and hotels are how i afford to travel the world.

Millington, TN

If you’re military… This is your best bet in the area. Clean, large, spacious, and cheap. It’s not the Sheridan or Hilton but it’s not a seedy cheap hotel either. My in laws live in south Memphis and we choose to stay here vs paying an arm and a leg for a hotel on the river or I’m the downtown/midtown area. Quick and easy check in and check out. Late check in at 3pm is a bummer if you’re wanting to rest after a long night’s drive

The hotel is not that bad but it’s very old… I think the worst part is that they don’t have free wi-fi and they don’t have a regular wired internet connection either so if you want to browse the web in your laptop you will have to pay for it… It’s one of the most expensive DOD lodging I have been so I can’t believe there’s not free wi-fi…
