Once again I decided to give Hogback a chance and once again I was disappointed. I have desperately tried to like this place, the food is good, location is close by, but they can never seem to get an order right. Mind you, they are excellent at charging me for every item I order(they have never missed on that), but EVERY time I order I am either missing food or the orders are wrong. Clearly, they have more business then they can handle, so I will do my part and reduce the stress on these folks. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, the food doesn’t make up for the poor operations and execution

so so so good. Just clicking on here to write a review makes my mouth water. The food is amazing and so is the staff. this place would be a gold mine if located in a city like Princeton. highly recommended.

Classic hoagies with a smile and at a good price. Check out my photo. Lots of meat and cheese. Huge bread. Any toppings you want. Hogback is sort of a kill all in that they have basically whatever you are hankering for. I have been eating Hogback for years, but this is my first trip to the actual shop. My parents discovered Hogback after I moved out, but this is their go to for any get togethers and parties. Always a crowd pleaser. They are enormous. So a half sub can feed four light eaters or children. A half sub is always enough for me, my mom and two aunts. There are fewer and fewer classic hoagie places to go to, so run and get a sandwhich which reminds you of when you were young.

they sure make some good heroes from the boars head products that is the best for the sandwich plus they make some home made salads

First time trying this. Got a Cobb salad and blat press sandwich. Both were very tasty and fresh. Will definitely go back to try other stuff. I would recommend to go back again.

This was the second time I went there. The first was VERY good. Boars head cold cuts, clean, pleasant, etc. This visit was just OK. I had the Tuscany Panini. Not bad at all. The issue I had was the SLOWWWWW service. They had a take out of 6 sandwiches, But…25 minutes… come on. Will I go again… YES! Would I recommend… YES Was it good… YES

I’m working in the area and was craving a pastrami sandwich. HOGBack’s pastrami reuben was the best sandwich I’ve had in years! Ever sandwich the customers were eating around me looked better than the next. Highly recommended! Thanks for a satisfying lunch!

Great subs and cheese steaks! The cheese steaks remind me and even surpass a lot of places in philly. The portions are substantial! Will not disappoint.

I’ve tried this place twice. To be fair, the first time I ordered from here, I did enjoy my sandwich. I actually couldn’t wait to try it again. Second experience? Not so good –here’s the breakdown: The Hamburger was definitely some sort of frozen, preformed patty — which I could barely finish due to its inedibility– So… I didn’t. The side of «Coleslaw» was essentially Coleslaw soup– that went straight in the trash. Inedible. The Onion rings claim to be homemade. Breaded, over cooked in oil that hadn’t been changed, falling apart. Inedible. Chicken cutlet sandwich, over cooked, rubbery in appearance would not recommend. An order of wings, smothered in sauce– I wanted to like them… however they were mediocre at best. Hogback has a great selection on their menu. I was looking forward to trying a few different sandwiches they offered. Hopefully they can rethink the quality of the food they’re serving so people can consider being a repeat customer.

The last few times I ordered from Hogback, I felt kind of disappointed. Food arrived late, and it was cold, but the delivery person was nice. They were having difficulty with their car, okay no problem, but this same thing happened once before. My real gripe is that I don’t care for having to meet a twenty dollar minimum for my delivery order. I was two dollars short, and the guy actually called me back to tell me that it wasn’t enough for delivery. Really? He tried throwing in $ 5.00 Mozzarella sticks… uh no thanks, I’ll take the $ 2.00 fries. But no matter how you slice it, two lunch entrees and two beverages should warrant enough for delivery. It does everywhere else in the surrounding radius. Overall, the food is good. Selection is fantastic. But the service irritated me some, and brings my perception and review down a couple of stars. I’m really sorry, because I hate writing bad reviews.

The Hogback is simply amazing. There are not to many choices for take out in this area if you are looking for something other than pizza or Chinese. We tried Hogback tonight and it was one of the best takeout location I have tried. I decided to go simple and try the buffalo chicken and fries. My friend tried the honey BBQ wings and the bacon cheese burger. First the buffalo chicken… It was real chicken not some out of the box previously frozen and breaded chicken. It was cooked perfectly and the fries were also awesome. My friend liked the burger and loved the wings! This is place was also spotless and didn’t smell like a deli!

Stopped here for a quick hoagie and I don’t think I could have been more surprised. A very nice place to walk into, and I asked how big the hoagie sizes were and a «mini» is bigger and better then any subway sandwhich. I had an itialian hoagie with banana peppers and it was amazing. One of the best hoagies I’ve ever had, and by far the best in the area. 10⁄10 good job guys.

I live no where near this deli. I have a job that allows me to travel all over. So I’m blessed to find little gems like this in areas I would most likely not venture in. I’ve had their breakfast sandwiches as well as their lunch sandwiches. All were very good, fresh, and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. This deli gets the job done right. Unfortunately, I won’t be working in this area much longer to continue frequenting this fine establishment.

Had to come here, even when it was snowing out. Honey barbecue wings were excellent. «Insane» barbecue wings were not spicy enough for me — wasn’t surprised — but good as well. Chicken barbecue sandwich was also good. Definitely going back to try more from their menu.

Great food every time I order. Tried turkey/cheese, chicken/fresh mozzarella, and Caesar wraps– all awesome. The bread and meat seem very fresh. The fries are good too. The large hero is gigantic and could feed a family. Must try place if you haven’t tried it already.

I am a huge fan of the buffalo wings and the cheesesteak is insanely good. I’ve had a few of the other hoagies which are of course the specialty of the house, but I can’t stay away from the wings and cheesesteak. Try Hogback once and you will be back. Again and again. You’re welcome in advance.
