Love this park. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. There’s doggie bag stations and garbage stations as well. very peaceful to just sit or walk around and reflect. It’s small so I just use it as a rest area of sorts on my walks. Definitely a hidden gem! Lots of history to look and read of how things were back in the old milpitas early days. Like stepping back in time.

Glad Milpitas put the funds from all the traffic tickets to good use and shelled out to restore this old Spanish rancho. Used to bike past this place as a kid when it was all boarded up and wonder if they were going to let it fall apart or become a place for vagrants and addicts. Lol. Park is great and buildings are fully restored. Signs tell you about the history. Looks like they have some tables and BBQ facilities and the restrooms are in great shape. Hidden gem.

I’m always happy to see new parks and greenery. This park is only about 6 months old to date. It’s very small but quaint and quiet. You’ll learn about farming in the old days. The huge old California sycamore tree is quite amazing. Benches and barbecue pits are available. Since it’s so new, everything is so clean and in best shape including the restrooms. It’s also dog-friendly. They have planted many young trees so in time, there should be more shade. Meanwhile, wear a hat.
