Applebee’s

Such a bad experience — we went in a big group. I wish they would have told us in advance they cannot handle big groups properly. First of all, our orders were so mixed up — many of us have to wait longer than others. My burger order was served on another table and it got delayed longer. Later when they brought one for me (after rest of folks on my table finished their meal), burger wasn’t cooked properly. pretty much raw patty and the bun. I just left it as is. Brian and team you could have done better to make up for all the mix up. Such a bad experience overall.

Just tried to eat here with the operative word being tried.
Not busy and seated pretty quickly. Over 5 minutes passes without anyone acknowledging that I am siting there.
It really shouldn’t be this difficult. I come to your establishment to eat and drink — you recognize that there is a customer in your establishment and we go from there.
Shoot me a message when you guys start caring just a little.

The service was very slow to seat us, party of three, even though the table we were seated at eventually was empty from around when we came in. Then it took a long time for a server to even walk by.
The menu offered light Italian dressing was not offered, the server was surly and claimed that vinegar and oil in two separate containers was «low calorie», the highest calorie dressing there typically is.
The server never stopped by to make sure that things were okay. The requested side condiments were never brought. My water was never refilled.
This was miserable service.

The service here was terrible. The host was very unprofessional, I asked her for a drink and she said she would get it and never did. She just went back to the host stand and started talking to the other host. I know it’s not her job to get drinks but she could’ve at least let our server know. Also, our server ended her shift and didn’t come to tell us that she was going off the clock. We waited 15 minutes for another server to come and take our order and it wasn’t even busy. Another server made us feel very uncomfortable because he kept staring at us while he was talking to another sever who was off duty and eating in n out burger. I don’t know why management lets the employees eat at the tables while other diners are eating. It looks very bad. I will never eat here again it’s just employed with a bunch of immature teenagers with bad attitudes. There was only one nice server who helped us and I thank her for it. But otherwise this place sucks.

More of a 2.5 stars.
Our waitress was great — she was friendly, attentive, and checked up on us multiple times. The host was friendly and helpful — he asked where we’d like to be seated and was able to find us a seat quickly.
We ordered Mozzarella Sticks, Buffalo Wild Wings, Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp and the Sirloin Steak with mashed potatoes. Everything we had was alright — you pretty much get what you paid for, which was fine. However, after devouring the sh*t out of our food, our stomach started to hurt and we felt gross and disgusting. maybe this was a sign of old age (heading towards my first hill atm).
Anyways, as a kid, I LOVE this place — probably as much as I loved Sizzler. But, love doesn’t last forever. and slowly comes to a stop.
Side Note: They remolded this place, which is pretty cool. Another cool thing we notice was the tablet on each table. You’re able to order dranks, appetizers, desserts, AND pay for your meal.

IF Negative stars were possible that’s what this place would get, sitting here now for a little over an hour with only a cup of water In Front of us and and the appetizer we rung in ourselves from the kiosk at the table… no one has checked on us or Come by to let us know where our food is, originally got on Unilocal to look up new place to eat but everything else around here is closed so here we are… Waiting and in 20 more minutes it will be an hour and a half that we’ve been waiting for spinach dip and chicken. Poor service, even worse communication and all anyone has to say is «oh I’m sorry, I didn’t know» Never coming back here again!!!

Let me start by saying thanks for getting rid of that Phil manager. (Had the worst experience ever with that Phil manager). And now it’s better then before the employees look happier and they actually have a real smile. And the best part it feels like an apple bees should feel like. ur at ur own kitchen and the waiters especially Samantha she’s on top of her orders and always knows why her customer are here for the food and a great environment. If I could now I would give 10 stars. Also try the double crunch Bbq wings addicting.

I went to this particular location late last night to catch the last moments of the Warriors game and decided on the chicken quesadilla as it is among one of the many choices of appetizer during their late happy hour. Of course, the happy hour specials are only offered in their bar area.
The bartender, Kyle, was excellent at first. From the moment that I sat down until my food was delivered. Then, things went downhill as he chose to talk with the regular customers. Started to ignore me and never got back to me, especially after he put my check in the glass. Unfortunately, I had to give him the standard 15% tip. I so wanted to give him a 5% tip.
I might avoid this location for a while. It’s a shame as this particular Applebee’s is located only 10 minutes from home.

This place SUCKS!!! Horrible service and the service staff are just standing around kickin it! How disrespectful to the patrons of this establishment. Where is the manager to oversee this!
Avoid this place! Don’t get me started on the bar, let’s just say super slow! There’s is literally no one there!!!
Go to Chilis instead!!!

I haven’t visited an Applebee’s in several years, chain restaurants aren’t usually my spot. But I took a co-​worker out for his birthday and by his request (his actual quote was «they have big portions and I missed breakfast today») we went for lunch at the big A in San Jose.
Applebee’s interior is typical for the Chili’s, Friday’s, breed of traditional American sports restaurant and bar. Clean, comfortable, not too loud, busy, festively colorful with college-​aged waitstaff. The mood here is upbeat and the menus are trendy. It’s not a sandwich anymore, it’s a «handheld». Whatever.
I ordered the All Day Brunch Burger from the All-​In section of the handhelds area of the menu. Certain flavors are «seared in», onions in this case, others are «piled on», a fried egg, hash browns, cheese and ketchup. And I’m already tired of explaining this. Burgers have gone the way of the Oreo. The Oreo was once a type of cookie among other typos of cookies in the cookie aisle. Now there are so many Oreo flavors you can recite the entire alphabet while walking past them in the store and still have options at Z. I like options, I really do. But my body cannot produce enough insulin in my lifetime to enable me to enjoy every flavor of Oreo. But I digress.
The burger was good, if a bit smaller than I remember. It came with sweet potato fries that were average. The range wasn’t creamy enough for my taste. My friend ordered shrimp linguini and reported that it was very tasty. We were treated to a very small free dessert for his birthday, vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and whipped cream in a small glass.
Check out was automated using a small touch screen device in our table. It was quite easy to use. Our server was friendly and helpful. An overall good experience, I’m just not that crazy about the food.

If I could give this restaurant a ZERO STAR I would! Bartenders here suck. They are not attentive and very lazy. So unprofessional that this guy bartender yelled at this poor girl in front of us. It’s sad that he couldn’t wait to pull the girl aside.
Go to Chili’s instead and get an outstanding service. It’s only down the street from this location. I promise you they have better food, drinks and great staff.

Tried the Thai shrimp salad, was pretty good, except I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side, or asked for lite dressing… it was overly dressed for me (I’m a dipper).(Mini) Potsticker was good, there’s 16 pieces to share. My kid’s corn dog wasn’t enough so we ordered a 6 piece just for the kiddo. My hubby’s mushroom Swiss burger didn’t really look impressive (we eat with our eyes first), we were hungry so it satisfied. Yes I said we, cuz I had a quarter of it, & was good dipped in the sweet chili sauce used for the pot sticker. Was also very good eating it with the Thai salad. Oh forgot to mention that the Thai salad has cabbage, kinda like coleslaw with lettuce so it was good to add it in the hamburger. The shrimp was very good too.
Combo of specialty salad & perhaps ½ a hamburger is really good & satisfying enough, without feeling overly stuffed.
Adult Mac n cheese. I didn’t get to try it, looked good & filling.

I came here last weekend with my friends. I was very unsatisfied with the service. The place was packed, we had to wait 20 minutes before even being seated. When we were finally seated we had to sit next to a group of loud teenagers. I was thinking about asking for a different table, but looking around I couldn’t see another open table and didn’t want to wait. We sat around long enough to finish our waters before the waiter eventually came back. By the time we ordered we had probably been sitting there for a good 15 minutes. Our waiter was a cool guy, I could tell he was just as annoyed with the group of teenagers as we were. The food took around 30 minutes after we ordered it. Most of us were getting impatient at this point.
I ordered a medium rare American burger, I forgot exactly what was in it, but it tasted pretty good. My friends were all moderately satisfied with their food too. By far the worst thing about this Applebees is the wait time. Otherwise its food/​service is okay.

The food is… I don’t even have a word to describe. I literally lost my appetite.
Stick with appetizers & drink.

Had dinner here, the food was standard and they great customer service. Wish I remembered the waiter’s name so I can give her an honorable mention, sadly I forgot it. Blond girl with glasses.
I would have given this place 4 stars but as I was walking our of the restaurant, the bus girl cleaning the tables flicked crumbs at me while wiping the tables. I figure people would have common sense not to wipe backwards while customers are walking that way. Seems like she just didn’t care and was soullessly doing her job.

Thought I try a new item that came out. It’s called «maple mustered bacon»
But was not that impressed with it. It’s was on the dry side but ok.
The server, well let’s just say a bit slow from him. Not the smiles like we get from the past.
I guess we all can’t have all the time great service.
Clean inside and good music playing.

This isn’t some classy joint and we all know that; I don’t expect much from a chain but to deliver my food (…and drinks) on time and with a smile. The BF and I come here way too often ’cause we are just lazy and do not want to drive far from our house so this restaurant sees a lot of us.
We generally have very decent service and maybe only twice was it extremely atrocious service but if 2/15,987 times we have been there is the odds, I am okay with that.
Last night, I have to say, was the best service. We had Terrence as our server and he was amazing and generous and very friendly. He kept apologizing for the delay on my wine (they seemed bum rushed at the bar) and when ordering, explained the new items available. I have never had a better server at a chain restaurant in my life!
By the way, the new Sriracha Shrimp and Double Crunch Bone In Wings are AMAZING! I was not a fan of the Brisket Nachos; not enough cheese or Brisket… why is it called Brisket nachos if there is no brisket? The BF is a huge fan of the Mac n Cheese with the Chicken Tenders; he never orders anything else and could probably eat this every night.

I have been to lots of Applebees locations and this one holds up to the name. The hostess holds the door for all guests and greets you with a friendly smile. The servers are helpful and make sure you get your requests filled. The food is up to Applebees standards and prices are very affordable. Great place for a nice hot meal on a chilly evening! Also a great bar atmosphere if you are looking for that. We shall return!

I’ve been to Applebee’s a few times before & the food was just okay. I think the food got better ever since they changed the menu. I think the 2 for $ 23 is a great deal!
Wonton tacos — This one was new on the menu for a while. It was good & had a nice crunch to it. But the sauce on it was a bit too salty.
Bourbon steak — It was a good size but the seasoning was too salty. Had to squeeze a lot of lime on it to make it taste better.
Quesdilla burger –It was very unique. It was really good! Quesdilla w the hamburger instead of using buns actually went well together.
Strawberry quencher — It was not that great. The drink was pretty water downed.
The service was good. I think the manager came by our table to check if everything was okay.
