BevMo!

It was my first time here today. I came in with an online registry for a wedding tomorrow. It wasn’t for BevMo, but the gentleman was so knowledgeable on all the brands that he was able to pinpoint the ones they did carry.
Seriously though, who makes a wedding registry for alcohol! Well it was a lot easier then going to a regular department store! I’m just so glad the guy working there was able to help me with the list so I wasn’t going in circles. The store could be a little overwhelming if you aren’t familiar with wine brands or even all the types. I myself have not ventured out of my whites and roses.

I’m a sour beer noob so I asked an employee there for some help and I’m glad Jeff was there. I told him what other beers I liked and he paired an amazing sour that is so tasty. I have to pass it on. I recommend Duchess De Bourgogne. If you are adventurous and want to try something new ask Jeff because he seems to know a lot. He also schooled me on aged beers. Thanks

I find the staff to be very racist if you white you will get the best treatment from every employee I notice the difference at this location even from the manager him self I would recommend go to Safeway is lot better

It is always a good stop at the Bevmo store, Great selection and prices. The staff is friendly and very helpful to your satisfaction. And I look forward to going back soon. Perfect gift packages for different occasions.

BewMo is small. not sure what’s not here. tasting area? beer section looks the same.

My fiancé and I choose Bevmo as our wine/​sparkling wine vendor for our wedding reception. We took advantage of the 5 cent wine sales, as well as the coupons they would periodically send us via postal mail or emails. When we opened our order with the manager (Nick), he was so nice and completely understood how we wanted to build our order up with the sales/​coupons. He even offered us complimentary delivery service to our restaurant (w/​a minimum purchase)! As we returned throughout the next few months, we also dealt with Jeff and Kenny (who are also super managers). They offered us free sparkling wine tastings all within our budget as well! The delivery to the restaurant went without a hitch. The managers contacted our restaurant manager and set-​up the delivery time for us, and delivered the sparkling wines COLD! That was icing on the cake!
I am super satisfied with this experience and would recommend Bevmo for big events to supply your alcohol needs!

This is the equivalent of a kid walking into a candy store, the variety and choices is endless!
Large store location but parking spots can be atrocious to find competing with other nearby stores surrounding the mall. Friendly and helpful staff after mentioning I was from out of town and assisted me with all the specialty drinks needed for the 4^th of July.

The staff at this particular BevMo is a hit or miss… I called this location a few times looking for a seasonal Stone IPA, but the girl on the on the other end either seemed clueless or lazy. I’m not sure what her deal was. However, when I actually went into the store itself, one of the other staff members was very helpful, I really wish I caught his name.
I was hunting the Stone Seasonal once again… he noticed me looking around and asked me if I needed some assistance. I mentioned I was looking for the Green Tea Stone IPA. He knew exactly what I was talking about and proceeded to give me a bunch of useful information like how much was ordered, when it sold out and a few other places in the area that might still have some left. Thank you!

Realizing we were at the mall and there was a BevMo nearby, we had to go as I’m on a cider kick and oddly enough a beer kick. BevMo has a large variety of alcoholic and non-​alcoholic beverages. What you would also be surprised about is that they also sell some goodies to eat with the drinks and also have glassware.
We beelined to the back left as I knew the beers and ciders were back there. So many choices! I just wish we could get single beers for certain ones like the Sticky Toffee Pudding Beer. We ended up getting a 6 pack of Cinnamon Horchata Beer made by Blue Moon and the Iceman by Angry Orchard. I haven’t had the Iceman yet, but the Cinnamon Horchata beer is what it is… beer tasting horchata and if you haven’t tried it… eat it with Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds. It was just heaven.
The clientele can be a little less to be desired. Folks smelling like smoke kept walking past us in the beer area. Had to hold our breath each time. We easily got our stuff and left. Can’t say anything too bad.

Worst customer service from any BevMo I’ve ever been to.
I grabbed two 6-​packs from the shelf, which was marked on sale. When I went to check out, it didn’t ring up at the sale price. I even showed the clerk their online ad, which also advertised the sale price. The clerk told her lead, who asked me to show her the price on the shelf. After doing so, she only adjusted the price of one and acted like I made it all up. Um, this price is advertised in the store, in front of the product, and online. I’m not lying! Both staff members were very rude. I will not go to this location for anything, and will happily drive to the Stevens Creek location from now on.

Selection is pretty decent for a big chain store. HOWEVER, tonight was the second time I’ve shown up a few minutes before 9 to find the doors already shut to new customers (only letting those paying, out)
This town closes down early enough as it is, no need to cut it even shorter! Especially since this is strictly a ‘buy-​to-​go’ place (it’s not like I was about to sit down to a meal).
Bah.

An alcoholics paradise or worst nightmare? Not sure, but this place is stocked up on drinks of every shape and size. If you’re looking for specialty drink then this place will more than likely have it.
There is no entrance from the mall, so you’ll have to go around the good old fashioned way. Still, has a huge selection of brews and other drinks.
Rare champagne from France is always a bonus too.

Nice place. Lots and lots and lots and lots of excellent selection. I’m a terrible whisky snob, so I do love their selection of higher end Scotch such as Caol Ila, Laguvulin and a couple others that I can’t spell off the top of my head. Yeah, I like the Islays and peat.
Excellent place. I’ve lived close to it for ten years and been in there a million times. I’ve always had great service and will continue to shop there forever.

This place is smaller then the other one I been to. Located at Great Mall but can’t walk through here to go to the mall.
The workers here are nice. They have good selection of wine and hard liquor. You can have a drink tasting on Friday or Saturday, but I forgot the times.

This bevmo is smaller than the larger branches I’ve been to but they have a good selection of wine and got some imported ones too.
Customer Service is fine. Staff asked me if I needed help finding something so I did — she asked if I want it chilled already so I said yes so she told me to go to fridge and which shelf it would be.
They got a lot of alcohol selections here too. Lots of tequila and whiskey selections.

I love this bevmo! It is the only bevmo in Milpitas and the only place in Milpitas where you can buy imported alcohol. This bevmo is smaller than the larger branches, but has just the right selection. When I got here, I was drawn to the fun nick nacks and bought this cool wine stopper that conveniently also poors when opened.
After I hit the wine section, where I was happy to find many types of wines imported from Italy, Australian, South America, and more. I ended up buying a chianti wine from Italy, to remind me of my time spent in Italy work tasting in the heart of Tuscany :) I also settled for OOPs imported from South America, since I have been wanting to go.
Next to the beer selection, I found a great selection of ales, hard cider, both traditional American brands and imported brews.
Last stop hard liquor, great selection of tequilas and whiskeys, my personal favorites.

I gave one star coz the manager named Jess was a total Jerk. I was there today to return what I bought and it’s clearly states in the receipt that if your dissatisfied that you can return it. So he gave me a hard time & he wont accept my return because he’s a manager he can deny it too. He also said that by California law I can not return alcohol which I totally would have understood it. But he says my reasons were not valid so he’s not accepting it. I told him what the receipt says and I was still denied.
So this Bevmo is at Greatmall I really hope the owner of that place read my review coz I went to Willow Glen Bevmo I didn’t have a problem returning my alcohol. And I think I will make a trip to go there instead of Greatmall.
That Jess the manager does not deserve any star at all.

They don’t carry very many small batch items so I prefer elsewhere for my personal stash but this is the place to stock up for a party! I do love the buy one wine get the next for five cents deal though. There is one employee who is particularly on point with her suggestions but let me know you can return an unopened bottle if you don’t like the first.
The customer support over the phone on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. I called on a Thursday to ask about kegs available for pick up on Saturday. They didn’t have any of the brands I asked about and wouldn’t list the ones they had. Thankfully, it’s pretty easy to help yourself here.

One time I was driving out of the parking lot of Great Mall and I saw a huge sign in font of BevMo! that read something along the lines of «1cent bottles of wine». My lunch time was already up, but I how could I resist?! Turns out to be: buy a bottle of wine and the second bottle is 1cent. Still in a steal in my book.
Staff is so friendly over at this location. Maybe a little TOO Friendly. I felt like someone was always breathing over my shoulder asking me if I needed any help… but can’t hate the effort.
I always find prices at BevMo! to be more expensive than places like Safeway. But I must say they have a fairly good selection of beers. THEY HAVE ARROGANT BASTARD HERE!
