James Carrigan, DDS

I have been a patient of Dr. Carrigan’s for several years. He is absolutely the best. Everyone in the office is kind, courteous, and professional. In well over 15 years, I have never had a bad experience or been treated with anything but patience and kindness. I will say that I am not always the most pleasant of patients so that is saying something. Every time that I have any type of oral surgery (and there have been several with implants and deep cleanings, etc.) the staff always follows up to check on how I am doing. I appreciate the excellent work done by Dr. Carrigan, his assistants, and office staff. I love that Dr. Carrigan doesn’t try to sell me on unnecessary work, his costs are reasonable and he is always looking out for my dental health!

I had laser gum surgery mid 2012 and Dr. Carrigan is a wonderful prtifonyidy, I highly recommend him for his knowledge, skill and personality. Great staff too.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Carrigan for about three years. Initially it was for oral surgery and then for quarterly maintenance /​check-​ups. If you have to go to a periodontist — and hopefully you don’t — Dr. Carrigan is a good one.

When your dentist tells you there’s a problem with the bone above an upper tooth and you need to see a periodontist and many need surgery, you’re not really in a good mood.
So when a doctor’s staff can make you feel comfortable, and the doc makes you feel like it’s going to be OK, that’s wonderful. Well Dr. Carrigan and his staff are wonderful.
My surgery took less time than I thought, and I really was shocked when it was over, I thought I they were just starting (and no, I wasn’t under a general, it’s just everyone is so calm but efficient). I was given clear and accurate after-​care instructions along with some good tips to help even more.
When I had some minor problems after (one time it was all in my head — but hey, I was nervous) Dr. Carrigan took me right away and made everyone OK. The second time I had to go back (after my minor «all in my mind» problem), my teeth had shifted a little because of the surgery and one crown needed to be ground down. I felt it was OK at one point and Dr. Carrigan said «I want it to be perfect, not just ok.»
I wish Dr. Carrigan was a regular dentist so I could go to him for my regular work.
