I never Unilocal but I had to pass this on: This place is under new management and does not accept anymore active Groupons. I bought a Gift for my boyfriend, and he got there and had to pay $ 60+$ tip, I felt so bad! Mine was expiring March 3rd, 2016 and the appointment was February 10th, 2016. I am sure Groupon will credit the $ 30 paid for the voucher to my account but am just mortified as it was a gift! The person who answered the phone at Ocean Day Spa made the appointment without explaining to me they stopped accepting Groupons, which I clearly mentioned(that I had a groupon prior to arrival as requested) and they did not correct me on the phone and made the appointment. In fairness, the massage was very good, my boyfriend says.

I’m stil new to the place and the area but hearing from a few friends its, very professional, despite its location. I once came in around 8:45 for a 1 hour massage, — I DONOT enjoy the 10 min wait but also, the fact that the 2 hour session, almost ended 10 min earlier prior to, it was supposed to end. They also have a good shower, after so you can clean yourelf of the oil, if you plan on going on that night, or continuiing the process, it gets 5⁄5 stars from here. (simply put) more wait time, but overall service is warm, welcoming and understanding to the customer. NOTE, if you plan on doing more than 1 hour come before 5:30, as most of the masseuse, are just left to 1 – 2 girls in the end of the last hours.

I went this spa today as I left office earlier. I stopped by to have my another massage. I felt my left shoulder has some kind of souring. I used Groupon coupon to get service. Sherry, the female masseuse did massage for me. I preferred her. My shoulder became much better and but, still some not clear there. I would like to come back next week.

Horrible experience. I never Unilocal but I wanted to share. My husband had a man do his massage which was good. However I had a female who had zero experience. She didn’t know where to focus and seemed lost. She had her long hair down which aggravated me during the duration of my massage. My bed squeaked every time she moved me. We paid upfront then at the end she tried to say we had to have a minimum tip. She really deserved no tip at all since her lack of communication and poor skill level. You cannon demand a tip that you don’t deserve. Save your money !

Well I have yet to get a massage from there. I did call make an appointment and it was for a set time during traffic peak time so I arrive 30min late, normally not a problem. So when I enter i say I made an appointment to the person behind some partition she didn’t know how to do the groupon so called someone else. That someone else said, I missed my appointment, I stated there was horrible traffic. She said the person to do my massage waited and was sent home. Yet if i wanted to pay someone could see me right then. I declined and said I rather use the groupon and not pay anymore money for a service I haven’t even received yet. I normally don’t write Unilocal but this needs to be known. As a customer we have common sense, if I can pay for a massage then why, since my groupon valid, can I not use it, makes no sense to me maybe someone over there can clarify it for me simply. So I will use my groupon in time before it expires and the gas money I wasted today basically will be their tip since I drove over there leaving 30minutes early and it took me nearly an hour to get there, which is less than 10miles, due to traffic. I will update on my actual massage if it ever happens.

I would like to start off by saying I never Unilocal,but this place pissed me off so bad I had to write a review. I came to my 11 o’clock appointment 15 mins early and no one was at the desk. I waited for about 10 mins before anyone showed up. The lady redeemed my groupon voucher, but bc the voucher didn’t show up in her history on the groupon app she made us wait another 20 mins so she could call groupon to make sure it was valid… even though it said valid and it had the time stamp on the redeem voucher. The massage was horrible and the room was freezing! As I was walking out they asked me how was the massage, and I said bad. I was not going to tip them, just bc they wasted 45 mins of my day just validating the voucher. As I walking out the door they suddenly pulled out a paper saying minimum tip is ten dollars per person. A tip is something you earn not something that is expected, otherwise it should have been included in the charge. Never again will I come here. There was no sign saying there was a minimum tip on the wall.

The customer service here is horrible. We did not even stay for the massage. My wife and I made an appointment for two females. They tried to argue and ask if a male was ok. I told them no, two females multiple times. Then when we arrived, a male just walked in when my wife was not ready. My wife could smell his bad body odor right away. My wife reminded them that we scheduled 2 females. They tried to tell us that they did not remember which is not true after having to argue with her in the first place. They told us that they did not have enough females until we decided to leave. Then suddenly they had 2 females again. We will never return and hope that you do not come to this over priced mistake. This place is the opposite of relaxing. We had Groupons that we will be requesting refunds for.
