Kinda expensive. We got a small room $ 29/hr and we went on a Sunday at 1pm(bc we know that’s not the expensive hr). Overall the themed rooms are kinda cool. Their mics are legit and the system is sooo fancy, but you waste like 5mins trying to figure out how to navigate through it. Overall fun, but that’s bc karaōke is awesome! You can karaōke anywhere and it’d be awesome.

Oh em gee… This place is soooo cute! Not to mention, so much fun! My co-workers & I came here last night and were really impressed with the place; the machines & systems they use are high-tech, and they have different themed rooms! The staff put us in the Minion themed room, and everything in there was so ka-yoote!(see the pics I posted) Loved everything about it! I also love how there’s a mini stage with a microphone stand, and how they provide 2 other Mics & small musical instruments to use(maracas & tambourine). FYI: When searching for a song or artist on the touch-screen, you have to search by the acronym of the song OR the initials of the artist. (Example: «End of the Road» by Boyz II Men — – Type: «E.O.T.R» OR for Justin Timberlake — — -Type: «J.T») It might be a bit confusing at first, but it’s actually very user friendly once you get the gist of it. Other pros about this place is: There are snacks/drinks for you to purchase in the lobby There’s plenty of parking It’s C-L-E-A-N! And did I mention, a lot of fun?

Skip this spot unless you are Chinese!!! Pretty cool place but it is lacking many things. First of all, no alcoholic drinks and it is bit pricy. Second, it lacks in choices of the music. Pretty awesome they have new English songs but no old school music. Barely any other type of music besides Chinese!!! The karaōke machine kept restarting randomly, which was super annoying! Best part of this spot is super close to my house and cool themes but prob won’t be back though.

Came here for the first time to karaōke with friends and had a great time! They have a lot of cute themed rooms, and we ended up in a Greece/seaside island room. Inside the room there are 2 TVs on opposite walls, 2 hand-held microphones &1 stand mic(pretty unique!), a tablet-like device for inputting music, a climate control display, disco ball, and various musical instruments. Their music selection was pretty good and they had a lot of modern english songs that are still on the radio, although there were some selections that I couldn’t find. Some songs are so new that you have to download them, which we were told would take 15 minutes, but one song we tried to download never finished in the entire 2 hours that we were there. The method of choosing music is kind of strange. If you’re trying to find a specific artist you type in the first initials of their name(Taylor Swift = TS) and then you have to scroll through tons of pages to find the person which can be annoying because there are asian artists mixed in there as well. However, I discovered that on the homepage of the singer selection, you can sort by «european & american» artists and then just scroll through that to see what you like. None of my friends can read chinese, but we managed just fine. For a small group(6 or less people) we paid $ 40 for their regular pricing and since they give a $ 10 discount after 11 pm, we got our second hour for $ 30. I thought that the pricing was pretty reasonable compared to some of the other places I called up that were asking for $ 50/hour. However, they do charge a 15% service fee which I don’t really understand since they didn’t do much and we didn’t order anything… clean up fee maybe? Overall we had a good time and we would definitely come back!

My family go-to karaōke spot. Love the different themes and how clean it is. Wish they had more of a current music list. Open till 5am — that rocks! Going for my bday

Officially my favorite karaōke place in the bay so far! What sets this place apart are their THEMED rooms! Every room is different so whenever you come back you’ll have the fun of variety. Since the establishment is brand new everything is really organized and clean. I know a lot of other karaōke places can be a bit worn out. They offer about a $ 10 discount if you come after 11pm, which is great because they’re open until 5am every night. We came in a big group of 9 people, so they forced us to be in the largest room that was classroom themed, and about $ 59 an hour. We wanted the totoro or hello kitty rooms but they only fit about 5 – 6 people. The larger room had a long corner couch, a separate table area, and a mini stage with a stand mic you can tilt. The mic is also something I’ve never seen at any other place, you can reaaally belt it out. They also included two sets of macarenas, tambourines, mics, and dice game sets. They also have a wall tablet to pick songs from, so aka NOMOREBOOKS, YAS! I subtracted a star because although a worker runs through how to use the tablet, it still has a learning curve. I think we spent a good 15 – 20 minutes all together trying to fully get the songs we wanted. The English options could also use an update(but they got my boy fetty at least) Lastly, they don’t randomly check in on you so it’s great in terms of privacy. Tip: if you want to search by English artists, go by 1. artist 2. male/female 3. Europe

Really enjoyed this Karaōke spot. Rooms are pretty big and its reasonable price-wise if you’re running with a large group. After 11 pm, we sang for about 2 hours(with a group of 20 or so) and we paid about $ 10 per person which is an incredible bargain. The rate is higher before 11, but they charge you at the rate according to the time, so you can go at 10:30 and not worry about paying the higher rate. Everything is new and clean, and the equipment was all functioning perfectly. The large room was roomy, and well decorated. There’s a golden mic you can scream into and pretend to be a rock star. I really hope they are able to keep the place looking kept up. It might have defaulted to Karaōke spot in the south bay. While you need to stand up and select songs via a juke-box looking wall mounted screen, and struggle a bit to figure out how to search for songs, once you get the hang of it, its not too bad. You perform searches by hitting the first english letter of each song or group name(depending on whether you search by song, or artist). For example, if you want to sing Careless Whisper by Wham, you need to hit search by song, and then type in the letters C & W. Song-wise there’s a decent selection of English songs, but I’ve been to places with a better variety. Every song plays music along with the original music videos. That’s a nice touch, and better than other places that show random videos of white people walking through a park. There’s still enough modern and older English songs to get people singing and bopping along to the music. They have water, and chips, and some other snacks you can purchase to bring into your room. Have cash available, or you can put it on the room’s tab and you can pay for it all at the end when you pay for your room.

No more books!!! Touchscreen songs. Mic stand?! $ 30/hr. Gone are the days that you have to drive to the city for a good karaōke place.

This place is like a karaōke Disneyland!!! I’d give this place 5 stars on interior décor, each and every room has a theme that is so cute!!! Not everyone can be the next Beyonce but this place gives us a chance to try. Especially if they include a golden microphone AND a stage in the corner for you to preform your song! Another funny thing you can play around with is the disco ball and the sound effects! You can change the lightening and also have people cheer in the back for you while you sing. Or people«booing». Great way to troll your friends. No drinks or alcohol as usual. They did have a lot of drinks and snacks available for you to buy. This place is pretty pricey too but if you split it with friends you’d probably pay around ~10 $+ depending on the hour and how long you stay. There is a 15% service fee! My friends and I came for one hour on a Sunday night and it was $ 48 all together. Waaaaaay more expensive than other places but I feel that this place is way more luxurious than the other ghetto karaōke spots. Upon renting a room someone has to leave their ID at the front desk and will get it back once you pay at the end. The only reason why I didn’t give this place 5 stars is their song selection. I wish they had more trending/recent/popular English songs. Oh and this place is open until 5AM!!! So crazy but thankful at the same time that the location of this karaōke place is not in the middle of a secluded area. So I think it would be safe to go to karaōke here at 3am if you’re bored. It was tricky getting used to the high tech screen which we used to choose songs,(yeah no books) but the guy in charge was really nice and explained to us how to us it. In all honestly this is very luxurious karaōke place, so if you’re trying to save money it might not be best for you. Although I really recommend you to try this place out one time! Bring your friends and be amazed by the decorations. Show your friends that you can be Beyoncé too :)

Pure Karaōke is a welcome new addition to the Milpitas entertainment scene as it’s one of the few karaōke places nearby, and it’s open late! From my first experience here, the place seems very well organized. I called a day ahead to reserve a room since I didn’t know how busy they would be, and I spoke to a very nice lady who answered all of my questions and booked my room with no issues. I had 6 people and she told me that would be the small room which would be $ 39 an hour from 9 pm-11 pm, and then $ 2911 pm-12 am. They had a lot of cute themes to choose from such as Hello Kitty and Totoro, so I booked the Totoro to see what it’s like. I had to call back again in a few hours because I had one additional person, and another lady I spoke to ensured me that it was ok to squeeze that person in the room if that was my preference because I had really wanted the Totoro room. They all answer the phone in Chinese, but don’t worry, they all speak English. Upon arrival, a man checked my group in really quickly(they need to hold on to one person’s ID while you’re using the room) and got us settled into the room while showing us how to use the system. Their karaōke system is probably one of the easiest ones I’ve used — gone are the days of flipping through book upon book to enter a number in. You can use their system much like your phone or tablet, you can search by song or singer and filter by gender, language, and country. If you want to type in a search, rather than typing whole words you just enter in the initials(i.e. Bye Bye Bye = BBB). The song selection there is actually very extensive, and some songs they have are not available yet, but you can choose to download them and they’d be ready in 10 minutes. The room itself was absolutely adorable with the Totoro theme painted all over, themed pillows, two television screens, and best of all, a stand-up mic attached to a mini stage! They also provide two additional mics, maracas, and a tambourine. The room was kept very well and clean, although my complaints are that it can get pretty stuffy in there and it’s not as soundproof as it should be. We could slightly hear the music from the rooms next door, and definitely felt the bass of their music if they were totally rocking out. Overall we had a ton of fun though. Parking in this plaza is pretty easy, especially at night. If you’re trying to rock out during a weekend afternoon, that may make parking a bit harder because there’s busy dim sum restaurant in the plaza as well. Pure Karaōke sells little snacks in the front of the shop, and they also have a stack of menus in the front for you to peruse through. I will definitely be returning for some karaōke fun to see the other adorable rooms; I’m so happy there’s finally a decent karaōke spot in Milpitas!

I frequent Music TunneI. This new establishment is one of the better ones I have been. I do not care about the themes in each room. It is clean with exceptable accustics and equipment. Song selection needs BIG improvement. It would be great if food and drink were availble. Price is too high.

KARAOKEEXPERIENCE: My first karaōke experience was here, and I really enjoyed it! I would definitely come back. There was a wide variety of songs to choose from, and you could even download songs that weren’t already installed; however, the touch pad was a little difficult to use, and that took away from our actual karaōke time(because it was paid by the hour). SERVICE: The guy in charge called and texted my number to remind us we had a reservation, so that was nice! He also showed us each room that we could decide from. He was really helpful when we had questions. PRICING: From 3 – 7PM, the pricing was $ 30 per hour plus 15% tip(1 hour costed me $ 38). From 7 – 11PM, they have a price raise, so I would only come back before 7 to get that benefit of paying less. :-)

I went to Pure Karaōke twice in one week, so it’s time for a review! Parking: Since it’s in a small shopping plaza, parking was super easy. I never had a problem finding parking. Spaces are a little small, but whatever– it’s Milpitas. Service: I absolutely adored the owners behind the counter. They were so nice, helpful, and friendly. Also, it’s pretty cool that you can reserve a room online via Unilocal. So convenient! Snacks/Drinks: No alcohol is allowed in the room. They DO sell snacks and water/tea/soda near the entrance. Just show them what you have and they will tack it on to your bill at the end of your round. Karaōke System: Really great quality. It was super high tech with a screen on the wall(no books needed), speakers were awesome, there was no feedback from the mics. All around A+ set-up. They had a of popular English songs, but were missing some of my favorites(«Pony– Ginuwine» comes to mind). But, all together, good selections. Rooms: Really awesomely decorated and clean. Each room has a stand-up adjustable mic, extra wireless mics, maracas, and tambourines. Also, there is a cool disco ball on the ceiling too! — The first night, my group of 15 had the Chinese classroom which was super dope because it was HUGE and had a table on the side to play games on. Everyone had a blast. We were all dancing too! — Second night was in the Dior room with my party of 11. Great room and super cute! Kawaii girls and guys will appreciate this room. 5 Stars. Also, I’m Filipino– you can take my rating seriously since my people love to karaōke. ;D

This place has really high ratings but I don’t know… I couldn’t like it enough. I think my standards for karaōke are a little too high seeing how good they are back home in Japan. It was no doubt a fun place, with really neat themed rooms and things to do other than sing which is definitely great for small parties or a casual hangout with a good group of friends, but there were way too many problems with finding songs and getting songs to load. We basically waited the entire time for this one song to play, and even though it was queued up as the next song it never played… There were also problems with not being able to find certain songs when we type and search for them, but it shows up when we manually scroll through the list. Another time, the screen and the audio were off by a good couple of seconds. Basically everything about this place was really great — the rooms are fun, the place is clean, the price was really good(we came as a pretty big group and we all paid about $ 10 each) …but it just didn’t pass as a karaōke place for me, which kind of misses the point considering this is a karaōke place :-(

Fun place for karaōke! Randomly decided to come here on a Saturday night with 5 other friends. Ended up staying here for nearly 3 hours singing classic 90’s pop songs. Each room has a specific theme(e.g. Hello Kitty, Minions, Super Mario, Doraemon, Totoro, etc.), which you can choose if it’s unoccupied at the time of visit. I believe there are up to 3 mic’s that can be used at once. Overall, had an awesome time and would definitely come back again!

My friends and I came here on New Year’s Eve night/Early morning New Year’s Day. We were just randomly joking around and someone suggested karaōke. I remembered I bookmarked this place and I called right away! The lady on the phone said there wasn’t any wait for a room. Perfect! I love how they are open till 5am in the morning and that they are near by. Since they are new, everything looked great and clean. The hourly rate was $ 29 an hour. I didn’t see the final bill so I’m not sure if there was a per person charge. She said no drinking or smoking in the rooms and there was water, drinks, and snacks sold in the lobby. There is no alcohol sold at this establishment. I’m not sure if in the future, if there will be any, but currently no. The room we got had a classic type mic stand which worked.(Based off the pictures, we got the minions room) I was very excited about that. The music can be picked off a touchscreen. There were 2 tv screens on each side showing the music videos. The music seemed to be very current. It had about 98% of everything I was looking for. Overall, good and clean fun!
