Decent noodle place with a Mainland Chinese vibe. I liked their beef hand pulled noodles.

It’s okay. Not sure what the big deal is really. Ordered spicy beef stew noodle and the dry noodle with pork. Both were very bland. The broth had no flavor, wasn’t spicy and the beef was terrible. This place uses terrible cuts of beef for they spicy beef stew noodle. Don’t know how this place gets away with it.

Pretty decent food with decent, but not always friendly, service. I had the braised beef noodle soup, which I admit is pretty standard at a place like this. Food comes out and everything is as expected. Good portions with lots of noodles and good beef. But after you get your food, don’t ask for anything else(water, tea, etc) because they’re done with you. A good place for no frills meal.

QQ Noodle is one of my favorite lunch spots, tucked away into a quiet corner of the Milpitas mall. They have a fairly large sign in Chinese, but you have to look hard to find the English signage. They are noted for hand pulled noodles with a style from a certain region in China(not sure which). Being a vegetarian, my choice is somewhat limited. I usually end up Tomato and Egg Noodle Soup, admittedly the flavors are somewhat non-Chinese. Nevertheless, on a cold day like today, there is nothing like these to hit that spot, the ultimate in comfort food. You see quite a few individual Chinese patrons with nothing between them and a late lunch, their head buried deep into their noodle soup, perfectly transporting them home. How lucky are we live in a place to experience these exotic flavors, next best to actually visiting that small region in China!

The have a few vegetarian options. I tried the tomato and egg over noodles. The noodles were so fat and chewy. I enjoyed them.

I’m a sucker for hand pulled noodles. With that said, this was my third time here and I had yet to find something that I absolutely loved. I just kept coming back because I knew those delicious noodles wouldn’t let me down, and they didn’t. Tonight I ordered the Hot & Spicy Beef Stew Noodle Soup. It was delicious. Tender beef and a spicy broth accompanied those beautiful noodles. Definitely will be back to order this again. Remember this place is Cash Only! So, plan accordingly.

This would be a higher rating if it weren’t for the fact that QQ Noodle shows up on the County of Santa Clara Food Facility Inspection Reports system as having«Conditional Pass» placards their last three routine inspections with scores of 67, 58, and 67(out of 100??). We’re talking about relatively recent inspections. 58 seems awfully low! They did have follow-up inspections to correct violations and earn green placards. My friend checked their inspections reports after a recent lunch where I was fine, but she was queasy afterwards. Let’s just say after reading what she sent me, I will be skipping any ice in my drinks, and ordering dishes that are boiling hot going forward.

Still just as bad as I remembered. I was craving for beef stew noodle soup on Thanksgiving day. You cannot customize anything. I know, I know that you’re rolling your eyes as you see the word«customize» like as if I’m walking into a Chinese Chipotle or something. No, you can’t even ask for less noodles. I just wanted more soup because it was a cold, chilly day. The waiter explained to us that each bowl is pre-set, pre-refrigerated, pre-heated, or something of that nature. All they do in the kitchen is basically reheat it and give it to you. Those were his words, not mine. For $ 30, I had 2 bowls equivalent of Chinese ramen and a soda. Somehow, no one seems to mind this so I’m in the minority. There’s a line going out the door even at 2PM. The menu has a calorie count next to each entrée. I don’t see the purpose in that as no one can finish the gargantuan amount of noodles that’s in each bowl. Remember, it’s an Asian restaurant with Asian customers. Defend your place in line like a boss. People will cut you when you’re not looking.

I will admit I am not a «noodle-folk» so this review may be biased. But with that being said, I think the noodles itself are really good here. The consistency is really nice; soft and squishy but with a good firmness lol. However, I give this restaurant a 3 star because although the noodles itself are good, I feel like the different flavors and meat are lacking. My favorite dish is probably #12 because it has the best flavor out the few I’ve tried. The service here is also very slow. The restaurant is usually busy so I understand why, but I think they could be a lot more organized.

Average place to get a nice bowl of noodles Its a little bit too oily for my preference, but its still good. I love the texture of the noodles, its perfectly tangy. I ordered the spicy beef stew noodle soup and it was such a huge bowl I don’t think I ate even half of it. There’s nothing too special about this place, but it’s overall decent. Cash only!!!

QQ Noodle is my kids’ favorite place to eat on Sundays when we are in the area after church service. Their hand pulled noodles look like Japanese udon noodles but are more chewy. Our favorites appetizers are: Liang Pi and Beef Tendon; the spice is mild to moderate and just right for our taste. My favorite entrée is Braised Beef Noodle Soup. The flavor is mild and it has a good amount of beef, tendon and bok choy. My family’s favorite entrees are: Tomato & Eggs Sauce Noodles and Eggs Chow Mein. The flavors are tasty but not over powering. Minus one star: We never had to wait very long to get seated but the service is not on par with the food. You have to flag a waiter to get anything once they take your order. Also, make sure you bring cash as this is a cash only establishment.

I usually only come here with co-workers for lunch. They only have 2 – 3 vegetarian options, the egg tomato noodles and the vegetable chow mien. They aren’t super delicious and it’s not extremely cheap, but the food comes pretty quickly even during the lunch rush and the taste of the noodles is nice and chewy. I liked the chow mien much more than the tomato and egg noodles as there seemed to be more taste, but I guess you could put some of the spicy sauce into the egg tomato noodles and it would be better. For my co workers not familiar with Asian noodles, the food here blew them away, especially some of the meat topped noodles, which I don’t eat, but for me I thought it was pretty typical. Note: Bring your own chopsticks if you an as they only have disposable ones.

Yum yum, tum tum. We we’re going to head all the way to Newark to go to OK Noodle, however, we wanted to try QQ as it is closer to home, hoping it could be our new go to for handmade noodles. We have a winner!(although i still prefer OK Noodle) This place brings the goods in regards to spicy noodley concoctions. — Spicy Beef Noodle Stew — Bomb! Tender beef, great portion of noodles, tasty broth, and bok choy for the crunch! — Liang Pi — delicious solid starter, but I could do without when ordering other noodle goods. — Special hot oil noodle — Awesome, maybeeeee a little too salty but still very much so delicous. This place is cash only so come prepared. Customer service isn’t something they focus on here, but the food is good, and if you can stand being ignored while you enjoy your food, this is the place for you!

What I learned after my first dine-through… 1. Have cash 2. Flag someone down(make eye contact) 3. Order the #12 and the #20 4. Ask for lots of napkins and water Enjoy!

Service is super slow. There were about 5 open tables and several parties in line and it took way too long for us to get seated. My friend and I felt impatient to the point where we were about to leave. There was literally only one waiter during the time we came. A full restaurant and only one waiter? Please fix that to make service more efficient. Aside from service, food is usually good here. My go to noodles is always #10.

I came here on a wed night around 8 pm with my friend, and there were a lot of people. There were a few open tables too but it just took forever for us to get seated. I was annoyed because I was starving, and there was only one waiter. Besides the shitty service, I ordered #20, which is the special hot oil noodle that comes with pork and bok choy. There’s a picture of it on the wall. To me, it sort of tastes like the chicken from tapioca express haha. It’s a basic dish but it’s delicious and not too spicy. I definitely will come back to this place because there are so many other noodle dishes I wanna try.

Since birthday means you need to eat noodles for long life, why not get them for place called qq noodle? The menu is straight forward and not very long which is very good for those who are too choosy or have a hard time to choose. When we went it was quite packed and very busy. We of course ordered to go so that we could enjoy some Watchathon while we ate! So how was the shredded pork dry noodle? It was definitely QQ. I just wish there was more meat and more veggies, but the noodles were on point. I’m sure to try out the other menu items.

I have yet to find another place like QQ Noodle. I’ll admit that the quality has gone down a bit in the past few years, but it’s still one of the only places where you can get great hand-pulled noodles. And for the price, it can’t be beat. The quantities are all huge, and everything is about $ 8 – 9. The only downside is that it’s cash-only. As much as I’ve wanted to try the other menu options, I find myself going back to the same ones because they’re just so good. These items include: the House Special Sour and Spicy Pork Noodles(both dry and with soup), the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, and the Special Hot Oil Noodles. All of these are pretty spicy, but the chewy, thick noodles are great for complementing the hot oil and spicy pieces of pork. I’ve never been able to figure out what exactly the crunchy diced vegetables are in the House Special noodles, but probably radish or potatoes? Whatever they are, I love them and they make the dish. Overall, gotta love this place despite the slight decline in quality. Always one of the first places I have to go to when I’m back in the Bay.
