I’ve been here twice and the same worker was there both times. He was the only employee, but despite that, the store was clean and my experience was awesome. The first time I went, he was detail cleaning the soda machine/tea machine area. And by detail cleaning, I mean detail cleaning, he was scrubbing away at all the little corners and underneath the machines which is something you dont see a lot of employees doing. But when he saw that I was there, he quickly went behind the counter to take my order. Before that though, he washed his hands which is another plus. The guy knows his proper sanitation requirements. The second time I came in, he was cleaning up the sandwich area. Does this guy ever stop cleaning? Anyways, both times, he was very fast at making my orders even when I had 2 complicated sandwiches. He was also very polite. It was hard not to tip the guy and when he showed so much gratitude for tipping him, had to tip him again and he definitely made this Subway spot, my favorite out of all of them. I saw a picture of a tooth someone found in their sandwich. gross but an isolated incident that didnt and doesnt scare me. Especially when this guy is cleaning so much. Keep up the good work!!!

Been to a lot of Subways, but this was a memorably pleasant experience. Arturo helped us with 5 footlongs. It seemed like he was the only one working, yet he never rushed us, and made sure he got our orders right, and constantly asked us if we’d like anything else. Thank you Arturo for great service! We hope this review will get you a much deserved raise! :)

Definitely one of the better-run locations in the franchise. Clean, fast, and generous with the vegetables.

One of my first jobs was at a Subway so when I rate these businesses of operation then I know WHAT I’m talking about. First of all, you can always grade the freshness of the ingredients by how fresh the tomatoes are. This is the key. Of all the vegetables, the tomatoes spoil the fastest. I don’t care if you’re a nutritionist or food scientists but you can tell how fresh your subway sandwhich is by how«runny» the tomatoes are. Fresh tomatoes have almost zero liquid and you can easily see through them by holding them up to the light. The seeds are all hanging in their gelatin mold and aren’t going anywhere. That means this Subway changes their ingredients all the time. Also be on the look out for roast beef. Roast beef always changes to green and pink as it oxidizes with the air. Multicolored beef is a sign your Subway isn’t up to par. Most GOOD subways will change their ingredients every 2 – 3 hours as supplies last. MOSTCRAPPYSUBWAYS will only change their ingredients when they run out. Contrary to belief, your ingredients aren’t refrigerated when they are put on display. Also, whenever you ask for turkey or roast beef, ask for it fresh from the freezer and watch them open up the pack. I’ve seen turkey sit in the same rubber ware for days. Subway’s motto is to eat fresh. It’s your responsibility to make sure they serve you the freshest. This is a good place to eat but only gets 3 stars because they tend to overcook the bread. The bread is too large and it loses its freshness. They also use old bread as I’ve seen it being served to me. Don’t go at the start of the lunch hour because you’ll be getting this old bread first. Go in the thick and the busiest. They always serve the bread they had leftover from the night before. If you can’t make lunch then go in the afternoon around 3 or 4. This is when you’re more likely to get the freshest loaves.

Pretty good Avocado Clubs. The lady packed on the toppings and was pretty efficient, being the only one there. She opened up a brand new tub of avacado and it was fresh, cold, and yummy. My only complaints were that my 6″ wheat bread was stale and they didn’t have any spinach. I’m sure that the bread wasn’t all that great because it was slow on a Sunday afternoon. There is probably more turnover on weekdays. Good service though. The lady was nice.

This Subway location is probably one of the better ones I’ve been to in the area. The Sandwich Artists they feature are pros and they have to be to keep up with the McCarthy Ranch lunch rush. When I walked in, the line was to the door but they had five people behind the counter. I was surprised that the wait wasn’t that long yet, the quality of my sandwich production wasn’t compromised at all. The staff is pretty friendly and if you want more produce, they’ll give it to you without any hesitation, that’s what I’m talking about! It pains me when other Subways are so stingy on the lettuce… didn’t realize an extra shred of lettuce will run other Subways out of business. A couple cons, it does get majorly busy during the lunch hour and parking can be really redonkulous but if you know McCarthy Ranch then it’s no surprise.

Needing a fairly light dinner before we boarded our plane, we went to Subway in Milpitas for a quick 6-inch turkey sub on whole grain. I had my usual combo of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, yellow peppers, and a drop of honey mustard sauce, and to my surprise, noticed they also had guacamole as a «vegetable» offering. Yowza. I love guacamole, and it totally complemented my sub. Never thought I’d say this, but that sub was really yummy. Mr K opted to go to the In-N-Out Burger joint down the street, but I did let him try my sandwich. He agreed with my evaluation. Three stars. It’s only a Subway, not a Michelin star award winner.

This Subway location offers a friendly staff that are excellent sandwich engineers. You never have to tell them to add a few more olives or bell peppers. They grab a bunch and place them strategically throughout the sandwich. I really hate Subways that put an olive or two in the sandwich and expect you to be happy. Anyway, the only knock on this place are the people that take your order are hard to understand. I can order in English or Spanish, but one guy speaks a Spanish dialect that is tough to understand. And the little woman with the glasses is so soft-spoken, I have to strain to hear her. Honey, if you ever read this, you make one of the better Subway sandwiches in recent memory, so please try to be more confident. Plus, I like your glasses. I rarely see sandwich engineers with glasses. It’s cute.

I haven’t been pissed in a while, yet this subway managed to have me leave muttering under my breath things my mom wouldn’t appreciate. I ordered my sub(or grinder for anyone for Bean-town) and after making it she asked«anything else» to which I clearly answered«nope, that’ll do it.» When she rang me up the bill came to $ 8.44. Seemed pretty steep for a sub but it had been a while since I had Subway. I paid and as I went to grab my sub I noticed she placed a cup next to my sub. I asked her«did you add a drink on my order???» Apparently she thought I wanted a meal deal, I never said anything about a meal, sounds stupid but it really pissed me off since she already swiped the card. I told her no big deal, took my drinks and chips, and wlaqked out a lot less happy then when I walked in.

As a senior in high school I was a Subway and Taco Bell fiend. Those were the closest fastest things I could get to off campus at the time. When I graduated I swore off of Taco Bell forever cause I O.D. on it due to it’s cheap pricing. Frankly as a teenager, Taco Bell was like going out but Subway was REALLY treating yourself. I used to love the Spicy Italian sandwich and I’d budget one time a month to get this thing. Then I went off to college I had graduated to Togo’s as the«treat». Subway then fell by the wayside even though I didn’t swear off of it. Cut to years later and I’m on my way to a customer site and was thinking I might be able to hit Banana Leaf before I went. Unfortunately time was short and the Leaf had a wait, so I ran next door. Low and behold the Spicy Italian was still there except now it’s toasted(can you say Quizno’s competition?). I have to say for not having had it for years it still tasted pretty much the same. Was I feeling 17 – 18 again? Not really but I was still nostalgic. What once was a treat now was merely a convenience. I still enjoyed the sandwich but just not the same fervor I once had. It’s funny how your tastes change as you broaden your horizons. Even though I no longer look forward to this meal, it’s still a solid sandwich(Im a sucker for pepperoni) and still it occupies a small slice of my good memories.
