Two Men and a Truck

We used Two Men And A Truck to move across town. Actually they required us to use three men because we were moving a piano*. This ended up speeding up the process so it was fine by us. We packed up most things ourselves and they did a great job collecting the various odds-​and-​ends in a timely and careful manner. We have a lot of musical gear and books, which has to be annoying for movers, but the guys assigned to our move were courteous and professional. If you are moving, these guys will get your items from point A to point B quickly and carefully.
* Note about the piano: Requiring three guys struck me as odd as our go-​to piano tuners/​movers are just two older guys with specialized equipment for moving pianos. If you consider your piano to be of high value, use professional piano movers. They got it to the destination intact, but they were obviously improvising. NOT the movers’ fault – the sales rep misrepresented their competence with respect to piano moving. They ended up having to manually lift our upright piano to get it down and up a couple of steps. That’s absolutely crazy. Two Men and a Truck need to do their homework and properly train their movers, else they’re in for some workplace injury lawsuits down the line!
