Dropped in for some take out and was in and out relatively quick, considering there was no line and they make the sandwiches right then and there. I have been there previously with a lot of people ahead of me, so the wait times ebb and flow. Needless to say the sandwiches were well made, well proportioned and the service was good as well.

Try the Lower Mills Sandwich! Delicious. Not a huge fan of their pastries or desserts but their sandwiches are awesome. Good variety, great bread and fast, nice service. The free pickles are tasty too.

This place keeps getting better. Try the Kolashe. Wow! Incredible! Especially if you can get there early in the morning when it is fresh out of the oven. It’s so good. Man, now I want one…

Stopped in today for my lunch break, I got the Wildcat Club. It was absolutely amazing. Fresh ingredients, and the sourdough bread was unreal. Would definitely comeback. Sandwich was huge, half the sandwich was about the size of a full one from Panera.

Instead of going to DD for a quick breakfast sandwich hubby and I decided to try Bent’s. The newly renovated space is nice. They have their most popular sandwiches listed on a board and the rest is on the menu. I ordered a sausage, egg, and Swiss cheese bagel sandwich and hubby got the wildcat. Mine was really good with cheese oozing with every bite. Hubby enjoyed his sandwich as well. We paid $ 13 and change for just the sandwiches. I felt it to be a little pricey but then again the sandwiches were really filling. We’ll most likely go back as regulars since it’s super conveniently located near us.

Got a big blue sandwich today with cram bury sauce. They apparently put to much cranbury sauce on the bread and it fell apart. I had to go back to get a refund. I won’t be making the trip to Milton again for their sandwiches. Use your head when you make the sandwich. They are expensive and not worth the price.

Got the Big Blue, Sandwhich was excellent with whole grain bread they make on premises. One thing that would have made this a 5 is to put the wet cranberry Conserve on the top of the sandwich so I wouldn’t have to Juggle to keep the yumminess in. Update they now make the best turkey sandwich ever. And Sean is the nicest guy you will meet.

The chocolate chip cookies are AMAZING! I got a chicken Caesar salad and I loved the dressing… Not to impressed with the chicken but it was still delish! Def going back!

Ordered a picnic lunch by phone. Got two sandwiches, Caesar salad, cole slaw and cookies. Sandwich was tasty but it included bacon — unfortunately it was undercooked and I had to pull it out. Cookies were dry and one slightly burnt. Couldn’t eat cole slaw since we were only given one set of plastic utensils. Also, napkins were left out of the bag all together! We were hoping for ice cold bottled water to go but all that was in the fridge were soft drinks and flavored Selzer. I’d say it was a nice try but that Bent’s missed the mark. With a little more effort it could be great!

Not dialed in. 1) A placard outside the establishment tells me that this is where the«cracker» was invented in early 1900s. Cool! But, guess what? They don’t sell crackers. 2) The sandwich that I ordered was poorly constructed. It was missing an ingredient, and it just looked like it wanted to fall apart. Floppy. See pic. 3) I wanted to buy an oatmeal raisin cookie, but the cookie jar was full of broken cookies. I don’t think there was a single one that was intact. Not that professional, for a professional cookie maker. 4) No smiling amongst the staff. Just deadpan. Meh.

Good ingredients for the sandwiches; cookies are OK. Have two cupcakes waiting for after dinner. Certainly worth coming back

I have lived in Milton almost all of my life and remember going to the cookie factory when I was younger. Then we used to just get the cookies which are good. What is amazing are their sandwiches. They are all named for local places or things in the town which give the place a small town New England feel. The sour dough bread is awesome and the coldcuts are so good. The condiments they add always make the sandwiches with a dill pick on the side. Love it would recommend it again and again!

Given the name of the place, it’s a little ironic that I wouldn’t go here for cookies, but instead the big draw is the amazing deli sandwiches. The sandwiches are quite large, and made with good quality ingredients. My favorite is the Wildcat, made with turkey, ham, bacon, muenster cheese, lettuce and tomato, with honey mustard, mayo, on sourdough bread. I’m getting hungry now just thinking about it. I also have friends and family who are fans of the Big Blue and Granite sandwiches. While they have a few stools by a window, I think of it primarily as a takeout place. The staff has been pleasant every time I’ve been there.

It’s easy to miss this spot as you’re cruising down Route 28. Bent’s is in a residential area and can be hard to find if the GPS isn’t in the cards. However, it’s a nice hidden gem with some good food. I went for the Wildcat Club and the sandwich is quite large. I liked the combination of turkey, ham, and bacon with the usual veg you see in a club. The sourdough was nicely toasted. For $ 9.99 you can get a sandwich with a soda/water, a bag of chips and two cookies, which is a great value. Cookies are sold by the pound. My favorites are butterscotch, peanut butter, and oatmeal raisin. If you’re just gonna munch a bunch of them on your own, they sell«broken» cookies for $ 3.50 a bag. Most of the cookies are just ones that are stuck together or look irregular and the bags come with an assortment of flavors. So if aesthetics aren’t a high priority, go for that. The cupcake I had, lemon drop, was atrocious. The icing wasn’t good, the cake had the consistency of sponge cake, and the lemon custard inside had this nasty layer of filmy skin. Get the cookies and skip the cupcakes. Service is generally solid and pretty friendly. There’s some outdoor seating and a couple of stools inside, but I think it’s mainly a take-out spot. A wonderful choice for Blue Hills picnicking or just lunch if you’re around the area… (300, baby)

I don’t know why I’ve never been to Bent’s even though I grew up in Randolph and now live in Boston, but in any case yesterday was my first time and their sandwiches are so delicious. I tried the Fontbonne(one of their hot sandwiches) — everything was so fresh, hot, & flavorful, and as all real deli sandwiches should, it comes with a perfectly crisp pickle. I’ve heard mediocre things about the cookies, but who cares? You won’t have room after the sandwich anyway.

I’ve been coming here for a while with my family as a kid. I always love getting my set of sandwiches and cookies at Bent’s whenever I feel like getting lunch(especially the Broken Cookies bag… around $ 2 or $ 3? Not bad at all!)! The portions of the sandwiches are huge. They sliced them into two’s, which is definitely enough to share if you are not a big eater. A slice of pickle is usually included with the wrapped sandwich, but you can make a request of whether you want it or not. Bent’s also accept credit cards! I usually get Blue Hills(cornmeal-molasses bread with tomato, lettuce, monterey jack cheese, ranche dressing, and avocado spread. yum!), and Milton Hospital(classic mozzarella, lettuce, tomato). I got the French Immersion few times, which is a hot and very sticky sweet sandwich!(brie cheese, granny smith apple slices, fig jam, lettuce, and lavender honey on a toasted baguette) This is definitely for those who are lovers of brie cheese and has a big sweet tooth! Personally, I wish there was some other type of green other than lettuce in that sandwich because the taste and sogginess did not work for me. When I was still eating meat, my personal favorite is Winter Valley(with either pastrami or beef brisket, provolone, and Russian dressing… very meaty indeed!). The employees are very friendly and welcoming, so don’t be afraid to ask for their recommendations! They know who are the regulars coming in, and they always have no problem with warm greetings :) For cookies, which are freshly made, I absolute love the butterscotch, butter crunch, oatmeal, and mollasses! Bent’s really does go old school with their set of Civil-War era crackers, so if you feel adventurous, check it out! Bent’s has some outdoor seatings and smaller ones indoors, but I say this is the place to get food if you feel like doing a type of picnic day at Blue Hills nearby! Great view of Boston on the hills while eating delicious sandwiches, who could ask for anything more?!

Based on all of the positive Unilocal reviews this place has, my wife and I went for a visit. We had an excellent lunch: I had the Big Blue sandwich(turkey, homemade stuffing, cranberry sauce, mayo, lettuce tomato) and 7-grain bread. It was AMAZING and really enough for 2 people(but I ate it myself). My wife had the new Milton Hospital sandwich(mozzarella, lettuce, tomato), which she loved as well(she only ate half and saved the other half for later). We also bought some sweet treats to go, which we will sample later today. The employees here are very friendly and in the short time we were there we saw many«regulars» come in and the staff knew them all! We’ll be back!
