Checkered Flag

Typical ma & pa diner. The décor is nascar which is really cool but the food lacked. It was very cheap but nothing special. We want to come back for breakfast since we only had lunch there.

This is one of those places that I love to find. Small hole in the wall, unassuming in appearance. I am traveling for work and passed this in the morning, after stopping at a chain fast food drive thru, and saw that it was busy at 6:30am.
Decided to come back for lunch. I sure am glad I did!
One of my tests for this kind of place is a simple bacon cheeseburger, which really isn’t do simple. Theirs was as good as I have ever had for this style of burger. I like my fries crispy and asked for extra crispy and they were excellent!
Service was excellent and friendly. Food came out quick.
I will be back for breakfast tomorrow as I am in the area for several days. Will get an update to this review then!
I can wholeheartedly recommend The Checkered Flag.

I love this restaurant even though it’s hard to eat the food without having any teeth. No one here likes me except one employee and she’s oblivious to everything anyway. I love getting my welfare check and spending it down here. I will be back in the future to post more. Wave that confederate flag proud! Ps, I’m an uneducated, ignorant b.i.t.c.h.

My choice for breakfast every time we go out. Great service, food and love their bacon!

We love their macaroni and cheese and stewed tomatos. French fries are always hot and cooked crispy on the outside. They offer daily specials and produce a calendar a month in advance. If you are ever in Milton needing some great food, don’t look any further. The Flag is it.

Very good food, neat atmosphere, friendly staff. My choice for a good breakfast. Not on the menu, but I always order the «mess».
