If you love cheese, please try their Prairie Breeze cheddar! This cheese has won several awards and has got quite some recognition over the past years. They make several other types of cheese as well; my other favorite is their hot pepper cheese. Everything they make is great, their products can be found in stores across Iowa.

Downgrading to three stars. I purchased two more chunks of Colby from Milton Creamery and it was another demonstration of inconsistency in the cheese making business. These were not as good as the previous. This was more like mild cheddar. So add this to the list like Amana Meat Shop, Widmer’s and King Soopers that had good to excellent Colby at one time and then have slipped back into making cheddar instead of Colby
