I love how fast the food came and it was great quality. Easy to order and will be ordering again!

Dropped by with my family and friends to grab something to eat on a Sunday after my daughter’s ballet performance. Food was delicious and the cashier was superb! He catered to our needs and pretty much made it easier for me to feed my two kids! Great food, great service, and just great environment!

Hot and fast food. Amazing menu selection. Ample parking. I would try the pad thai. This isn’t a fancy place but good food is all that matters!!!

Definitely not what it use to be… I ordered from here abt a month ago and it wasn’t great. It was like Food Court/Buffet quality. Tasted like it’d been sitting out. Poor quality food and Rushed customer service I think I’ve gotten spoiled from ordering from Great Chow, also in Quincy. Now that food and service was awesome!

I don’t even want to give this place a star!!! the lady in the front desk is so rude and ignorant!!! I hate walking in the restaurant to see her face I feel like I’m bothering her, then I think to myself that’s her freaking Job!!! I will never order from this place thanks to her lack of good customer service and there over cooked wonton! I’m sure I can find a place that is more welcoming.

Ordered food for delivery. It arrived super late and when I called to enquire about the order, a very rude person answered the call.

Good food but I feel it is a bit overpriced. I live in Milton, and would come here if I wanted some quick Chinese food to go. Mr. Chan’s serves Americanized Chinese food. If you want something more authentic I would recommend Chinatown. I am an ABC and come here when I have a craving for Americanized Chinese food :-) While I feel the prices are higher than other Chinese places, I do feel the portions are decent. I have had the appetizer combination, which includes chicken wings, egg rolls, and crab rangoons. I’ve also had the pot stickers, which they call«raviolis». All very good and comforting. For entrees I have had the lobster sauce with fried rice. I have had better, and would not order that particular dish again. I also have had the ma po tofu, which was good(it resembled a bit to the lobster sauce dish). We ordered our to-go items there, and got our piping hot food in about 15 minutes. There is plenty of easy street parking.

The food here is TERRIBLE! They also up-charge for everything! The only lunch combo they have with lo mein is rice. why would you want to eat rice and lo mein. I don’t eat pork and was told it would be $ 2.00 extra to take it out. This does not make any sense. It is not a substitution I was simply asking for it to be taken out. Would you up-charge if someone had an allergy too. This makes no sense what so ever! How is it extra to take something out?! I could understand if you were adding something but i simply asked for it to be taken out. The food has no flavor and is the worst chinese food as well as service that I have ever experienced. The people who work here are even worse. I tried to give it a couple chances but every time I went back I seemed to be more and more dissapointed. I will not be returning!

Awful food and RUDE customer service. I’m a vegetarian. And was happy Mr Chan’s offered vegetarian lunch specials. I asked for vegetable lo mein and fried rice, which what was listed. When I confirmed that the rice didn’t have pork or any type of meat in it, the woman on the phone said $ 2.00 more, that’s a substitution(in a super rude manner). When I argued that it doesn’t make sense to me to list a vegetarian meal that comes with rice, that I would assume to be vegetarian, the price listed should be the price actually paid. She continued to argue that the lo mein VEGETARIAN lunch order comes with PORK fried rice, and it cost $ 2.00 to have regular rice. I don’t understand why you would list a vegetarian lunch dish with pork fried rice, and charge and extra two dollars to not include pork. TERRIBLE business skills. And the woman on the phone didn’t seem to care if I ordered from there or not. Will not return.

Possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. We got General Gau’s chicken, sweet and sour pork, and fried rice – all pretty basic American Chinese staples – we weren’t looking for much. The Gau’s was awful(what flavor there was tasted nothing like any Gau’s I have ever eaten) and the pork was tough and chewy(I guess at least I could tell it was pork). Fried rice was greasy and flavorless. AVOID!

The appetizers are great here. Chicken Wings, crab Rangoon, teriyaki. The egg foo young is good too. The only thing that I find terrible here is the girl who answers the phone to take orders. I think her name is Christine. She is the absolute worst customer service person in the world. She isn’t even customer service I don’t know what she is but mean and cranky.

I decided to try Mr Chan’s based on the recommendation of two people. They both raved about how good the food was. I was truly disappointed! The restaurant was very clean and everyone was very courteous. However, the food was not good. I should have just driven to Cathay Pacific to get food instead. We doctored up our fried rice with duck sauce and soy sauce… didn’t help. The mall food is much more flavorful that Mr. Chan’s. The only good part of our meal were the chicken wings. It was worth the try, but I won’t be going back.

Finally gave it a try after hearing my girlfriends rave about it. So worth it. The food was cooked well, big portions, and not greasy! Hubby had General Gao. I had vegetable Lo Mein and we sampled a few sides. Everything was great!

I’m so completely disgusted. I popped in here for a quick bite with my husband, and sat down at one of the tables. It’s clearly a take out spot as the tables were all empty. As we started eating, the woman who works at the front(taking orders) literally started throwing up into a trash can at her desk! I was in complete shock. No one else who worked there seemed to think it was a big deal. We left immediately and I am hoping i don’t get sick from eating there. Do not go here!!! It looks clean but if you are ordering take out you don’t know what is going on in that nasty ass place! Grossness x1000!!!

Best chinese food ever! Went there with colleagues a few times as well as some takeouts after work, they never let me down. The food is always perfect, i love their chicken wings, GG chicken and chicken lo mein, they are the best! the staffs there are always nice and friendly, greet me right after i walk in. Also they always try to help, even tell me how to order at a cheaper price from the menu lol i was so surprised when she told me she tried to save me money lol May be sometimes they are a little bit too loud but i guess that’s the way they talk? Anyways I’ll come back again and again for sure, thank you mr Chan’s for ur great food and great service!

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. From answering the phone to collecting payment and handing the food over the people are so abrupt and rude. Too bad my kids and I love their chicken wings, hence the 3 stars. Otherwise they will get 1 star based on service alone. Their food is only OK. Can find better a little further away in Quincy.

Mr. Chan’s is my usual go-to for Chinese takeout. Most of the food is consistently good. I absolutely love the chicken wings. I admit I strongly dislike some of the chicken dishes, like General Gau’s or orange flavor chicken. The quality of the chicken seems poor in these, like scraps of leftover dark meat. The interior of the restaurant is really clean, including the kitchen, although the seating doesn’t look particularly inviting. Prices appear a little high, but the size of the portions seem to match. There tends to be a trend of overestimation on delivery times, like an estimate of 45 minutes to an hour turns out to be more like 30 minutes.

Really Unilocalers, really ? It seems my biggest misunderstandings on Unilocal concern Chinese food. It seems most do not understand what good Chinese food is. Every couple of years I try this place again, and it still sucks. Everything was a Grade 2: Hot and sour soup(as always a reliable tell), Szechuan Chicken, crab rangoons, egg roll. The Pork fried rice was actually a Grade 1, über sucky: gristly, overcooked and pastelike. It is not polite to mention other places I suppose so I won’t, but get exactly these things at Mr. Who Gives a F***, and then get the same things at P** ****, and see how they compare. Even The C***** ******* has picked up their game and is way better than this.
