Friendly little neighborhood liquor store. Ok selection. Medium prices. Sometime surprised at what they have. Other times at what they don’t have.

I think that Bert’s is an excellent local beer and wine store. It’s a relatively small store, but it has a very good selection of local and national beers for its size. It has a moderate amount of wine. I don’t find the store any more expensive than any other store. If you live in Bay View, it’s totally worth going to regularly.

Bert’s.
I can walk there, pick up a 12 pack of beer and walk home. A three star right off the top.
A very good selection of craft beers and local brews, and I can sometimes get a sixer of Fuller’s London Pride. There seems to be a large wine selection, but I wouldn’t know if it’s quality stuff.
Like any reputible Milwaukee liquor store they also carry a couple brands of 40’s.
A bit pricey and the owner could sharpen up his people skills but other than that it fills it’s role as a neighborhood liquor store.
But I have often wondered: Who is that little guy that’s always there? Does he work there? Is he following me around for some reason? What is his job? Is he mute?
