Best Western Plus

The room was nice and the king size bed comfortable. However the shower didn’t work very well and we only had towels for one when we reserved the room for 2. Not to mention the AC barely worked so we were left sweating most of our stay. We were also put above the pool in an area that was constantly lit with bright lights, and we couldn’t shut the curtains all the way to block it out. It was infuriating that the door leading to the stairway was by our room, and it lacked a spring or anything to cushion the loud bang it produced every time it was used. 3 times we were both awakened to the slam, so needless to say we got very little sleep and had about 12 hours of travel ahead of us.
When I needed to check us in for our flight we were given the option to use their computer room (because the wifi wasn’t working). That room had no AC and we were a sweat-​dripping mess within minutes. The best part was that all of the computers in there had been disabled and they didn’t provide login passwords to access them. When we got the information we were mad to find out that the internet didn’t work there either. We ended up having to check in with the front desk and they made a mistake with our luggage check (there ended up being no record with the airlines), so we had to be rushed to our flight due to already being late, and almost got charged twice.
Our shuttle almost made us late for our flight at 6 am even though we set everything up the night before and were ready by 4:15. The staff told us it was because the night shift failed to mark other guests as needing transportation, so at the last moment we had to remove all of our luggage and get shuttled over to another parking lot with a bus to fit us all. Never will book with this hotel again despite our many trips out there. It wasn’t worth the money, headaches, or almost missing our flight.

The website says nothing about pre-​charging credit cards, yet card was charged without notice. Cancelled reservation. Honesty and trust is important in running a business. Too bad, have stayed there before because hotel is decent. Will not be staying there again.
