I love Bittercube. Their set makes the best gift for anyone for the holidays! The owner is just the sweetest man — I met him at Dose Market and he explained it all to me. They even let you taste if you’re unsure of the specific item. I have already recommended multiple people to check out Bittercube. If you haven’t yet, you HAVETO!

I heart Bittercube! They were serving their cocktails at the grand opening of Bolster Creative in the North Loop neighborhood and I was simply shocked at how delicious the drinks were. I’m not a refined reviewer when it comes to alcohol. I don’t really like the taste of alcohol so ask me to critique a drink and, unless it’s non-alcoholic, I can rarely say I enjoyed it when it’s based on only the taste factor. Now, regarding the happy-go-lucky effects… that’s another story. All that said, I may be the best cocktail reviewer(ever) since it takes a lot to impress me! If I loved the cocktails, they have done wonders. And I loved Bittercube’s cocktails. They’re tasty, tasty, tasty but watch yourself, they’re strong little devils! I chatted with one of the owners who was fixing up drinks briefly and they’ve got a great story and passion to boot. From a marketing perspective, I love their brand; it resonates in everything from their site, to the personality, to the drinks, to the attire. I grabbed their card because, man alive, if I ever throw a big party for work or personal, these guys are the top of the list! If you really love their drinks and want to try to replicate a sunrise in your mouth at home, you can purchase their homemade bitters on their site, along with finding recipes. Just punch in ingredients you want and a recipe list will pop up a list of drinks!

We saw Ira Koplowitz and Nick Kosevich, the founders of Bittercube, in Timeout magazine and then met them a few months later at Dose Market. They make homemade bitters and craft artisan cocktails that are out of this world. They have created the signature drinks of top restaurants all over Chicago and the Midwest and are really talented. Ira and Nick agreed to create signature cocktails for our wedding and serve as the bartenders for our«specialty» bar for two days of events — to put it simply, they were a huge hit! The drinks were amazing — made from the finest ingredients & really delicious and at the same time, accessible to people who are not connoisseurs of artisan cocktails. And Nick & Ira have terrific personalities and built an amazing rapport with our guests. They were really a special and unique element of our wedding that made it stand out — we got tons of compliments on Bittercube. One other thing to note was that they were very accommodating & were able to make a few of their cocktails in non-alcoholic format, which was great for our pregnant guests(of which we had seven!). Their business is growing rapidly and they are amazing so I think they’re harder to get these days than they were a year ago when we booked them — but if you are lucky and are able to get them, I highly recommend them for creating cocktails and hosting the bar at any event you have! Huge added value!
