Yuk. I had the pork Bain mi. The pork was bacon-like(perhaps this what pork belly is?). ½ fat which was not crisp, but just greasy fat. I had to throw the sandwich away, I couldn’t eat it.

I finally got to try this truck last week. The focus is on Southeast Asian food and bubble tea and variations, such as smoothies and shakes using real fruit. Aside from the large selection of bubble teas, smoothies and shakes, the menu features 4 types of Banh Mi(two types of pork, ham, combo), a noodle bowl and egg rolls. I ordered the Banh Mi with roasted pork($ 6 ish). It was near perfect(more pork would have made it perfect). The flavors were well balanced with the right proportions of daikon, pickled yellow radish, carrots, cilantro, and jalapeño. The bread was crisp on the outside and soft inside. Even though I would have liked more pork, I could easily see it and taste it. The pork was tender and very flavorful. Essentially this Banh Mi was better than I’ve had at a couple of brick and mortar restaurants. The lychee bubble tea smoothie($ 3 ish) was delicious and refreshing, and I enjoyed the challenge of making sure I consumed each pearl bubble(they call it Boba). I hope to see this truck again soon. It’s been evading me, but I want to try the egg rolls and the noodle bowl.
