Cream City Crossfit Co-op

I really like this gym. Was very welcoming to a newbie like myself. Friendly coaches and attendees. They also are starting a free trial workout once a month on Saturdays for people who want to see what it is all about.

I joined cream city crossfit this past spring 2015 and I love it. I now regularly work out with the new friends I have made through cream city crossfit coop. I can’t imagine ever working out at a regular gym again. I love my crossfit coop community in bayview!

This is more than a gym. The people are warm and supportive. The programming is varied and yet attainable. The coaches are committed to helping members. Above all, the goals are not just about losing weight… it’s about real fitness. We discuss nutrition, flexibility and proper movement. Crossfit has made me a stronger, better runner. I surprise myself at most workouts and always feel better after!

I have been coming to this gym for over a year, followed the move and even became an owner because I love this place! I had been working out for years doing various exercises– running, yoga, personal training at another gym– and needed something more challenging. The coaches are excellent and the members are extremely welcoming. I was nervous to try Crossfit as I thought it might be a gym full of huge guys grunting and weight lifting insane weights. I was sooo happy my fears were extremely off. Crossfit offers all the benefits of personal training with prescribed WODs (workouts of the day) and the motivation of groups that encourage you to always push yourself farther than you thought possible. We have the best coaches and Crossfit community in town!

I first walked into Cream City Crossfit in 2010. I had just turned 40, and was a lifelong couch potato that had recently discovered running and just completed P90X but had no real experience with strength training. What I found at Cream City was incredible. Knowledgable coaches who wanted me to be fit and strong as much as I did. A community of strong and supportive friends. An opportunity to be in the best shape of my life. A place where I could train and compete alongside my wife. A healthy obsession with fitness.
My wife and I trained with Howy, Kevin, Angie and other top-​notch coaches for several years before leaving Milwaukee last year. I’ve been to many other Crossfit facilities but never found another that measured up. Thanks to the training I received there I have the drive and knowledge to continue my training on my own, while wife continues to scratch that Crossfit itch in our new town. A recent visit back confirmed how much we miss what we had in that gym, and I would return in a second if I could. I can’t thank Howy enough for the lasting change Cream City Crossfit made in my life.

I was always someone that had a gym membership. I’d go in, spend half an hour on the treadmill, maybe pick up some weights (though I never really knew what to do with them…), watch the clock until it hit one hour, and then race home. After years spent at the same weight and same body type, I decided it was time to finally get in shape and build some muscle.
Cream City Crossfit provides the most time efficient and effective workout I’ve ever done. Since May 2013, one hour spent at CCCF a few times a week has done more for my body than hours spent at the gym over the last few years. The coaches and members provide a support system and energy level that make me want to work out. The excitement of guessing the day’s workout and knowing that I’ll undoubtedly see results make the challenging workouts worth everything! Whether you’re a seasoned weight lifter or you’ve never picked up a weight before, the coaches and members at CCCF can help anyone meet their fitness goals!

I am a newbie to the weightlifting scene, being that I’ve been lifting weights for less than 5 years. But nonetheless I am extremely impressed with Cream City. I have done nearly every big BeachBody program, Insanity, P90X, P90X2, Insanity: The Asylum you name it. I got results, but nothing like what I have seen with doing CrossFit at Cream City Crossfit!
The coaching staff here is amazing. One of the things I was nervous about when joining was the fact that I had never done olympic weight-​lifting before. Not only did the coaches respond well to me telling them that, they made sure that I was doing okay when lifting. The coaches always help you lift with correct form, which is something I love!
Not only are the coaches great, but the atmosphere at Cream City is amazing. Everyone is out there busting their balls with you, and want nothing more than to see you succeed. They help coach you, cheer you on, whatever it takes to help get you to the next level.
In short, if you are in the Milwaukee area and are looking for a place to continue, start, or try out CrossFit, this is your place! Best Box in Milwaukee in my opinion.
