It’s ok, but they have awful music that doesn’t fit the mood. Play something lighter. No one needs bass bouncing in an ice cream shop. The fro yo is tasty but flavors are limited. Try the red velvet. But take it to go. Don’t know why the try for a club atmosphere.

Oh, how we love Cream City Swirl! While this shop doesn’t offer the widest range of yogurt flavors, the flavors available are always delicious and supplemented with delectable crepes, waffles, and gelato. These options, along with a fantastic staff, make this locally-owned shop a consistently satisfying experience. Additionally, the décor is fun and family friendly with several child-sized seating options, a rarity in Bay View! And in the warmer months, guests can enjoy a lighted patio located at the back of the building. Whether you live near Bay View or are looking for a sweet nightcap after a dinner downtown, do yourself a favor and contribute to the tuition(or tattoo!) fund.

Local Fro-Yo and Ice Cream joint. Small, charming, great flavor and topping options. Nice staff and somewhat memorable of that old time ice cream shop. Definitely not a chain fro-yo place. Will visit again, when it gets warmer.

Friendly staff, clean place, good variety of toppings, and decent prices. The chocolate frozen yogurt was outrageously good. Both staff members were friendly and helpful and since it was just us in the place they were cracking some jokes and taking extra care of us. Overall I would recommend and would return.

Descriptive phrase: homey fro-yo. Cream City Swirl is a perfect little spot on KK to unwind with some frozen yogurt. The froyo selection is good but not overwhelming, while the topping choices are out of control(that’s good, though). Prices are totally fair for the area, and they do a nice job decorating to make you want to stay for a while and play some board games. Really nice people, too.

I know these type of ice cream chains are all over the city, but Cream City brings a little something different with crepes and gelato. It has become the defacto girls night place for all of us Bay Viewers. I like that the yogurt choices change daily but you can always find the same toppings. My friend is addicted to the«asian toppings» and is always getting the BOBO balls and mochi. Personally I stick to the caramel/chocolate ones but to each their own! It is a quaint place to satiate your sweet tooth.

Delicious and varied offerings! I love that it’s in walking distance of my place. Their gelato is perfect on a hot day and heir crepes are a tasty light meal. They have fun retro games and reading material too. The interior is cheery and the staff is so happy to give samples. A great local business.

Still rockin’ four solid stars for CCS. Love that froyo divider, tho… helps me actualize my OCD tendencies in real time. Love the options — gelato, froyo, crepes, and more! Staff is friendly and they’re open later later in the week, too, which is nice on hot summer nights. I’m an old person now, and sometimes I like to get my «steps» in after«supper.» Sometimes I’ll get my steps in on the way to froyo, which negates said steps but it feels right.

Our family’s favorite froyo! I honestly can’t think of a way for it to get much better. Amazing crepes and gelato as well. Super fun atmosphere. It’s hip, but I wouldn’t call it hipster. Very artsy, which makes sense since it’s owned by an art teacher from MPS! Love it, love it, love it.

Selection, gelato, froyo, shakes, and more! Prices are a bit higher than other places but taste is mostly justified. Service has always been good, when I have been there.

This is a great little space, but a little pricey perhaps? $ 6.25 for a crêpe. I’m not sure what the going rate is for crepes — so I won’t dwell on that. I got the strawberry banana and chocolate crêpe — it was perfect. It’s fun watching someone make a crêpe, especially the dramatic flip. It always looks like it’s not going to work. Like, how can they possibly flip over that paper thin pancake without a single flaw? Well — they were successful, and it was delicious. I’d definitely like to try out some froyo or gelato next time. It didn’t appear that had a ton of options for the froyo, but i wasn’t exactly searching them out. I appreciated that the girl at the counter was friendly and helpful even though I had showed up a few minutes from closing time!

Such an adorable fro-yo place! A few highlights: 1. The variety of flavors! From sweet flavors including dark chocolate and coffee to tart flavors such as blueberry lemonade, I was super impressed by the variety. 2. Clean and organized. This may sound simple, but fro-yo places by weight, where toppings are a free for all, toppings have a tendency to get out of hand. Not here. Things are in order and organized. 3. Friendly staff. Both of the women working there on a busy Saturday night were delightful and welcoming. 4. Fro-yo Dividers. A simple and brilliant invention they purchased. My great challenge of how to combine the variety of flavors is finally resolved. I can in fact have it all(or at least have three very distinct flavors and toppings without touching one another). My only thought that makes this cute, brightly lit and decorated, corner of sugar a 4 instead of a 5 is the organization of the menu. There are a variety of menus displayed in a handwritten manner. It is a bit difficult to make sense of as a newcomer. Do I get one of their gluten-free crepes? Gelato? A variety of fro-yo? I think a bit more organization on that front could go a long way. For example, do the crepes go with the gelato or fro-yo? Can I combo fro-yo toppings with gelato? I have some unknowns that I am more than willing to work through for this cute and friendly spot.

This place has quickly become my favorite Frozen Yogurt place in all of Milwaukee. Very clean, attentive staff. Plenty of flavors and mix-ins available. They carry waffle cones, bowls, and even pretzel cones! I like that they even have dividers for your frozen yogurt cups in case you don’t want to mix flavors. They even offer crepes, hot/cold drinks, AND gelato!

9 choices of frozen yogurt, a full crêpe menu and gelato… You can’t go wrong. Plus everyone is always in a super good, chatty mood here! And I am talking about the customers(I guess, who could be mad at a place that is a dessert palace). Love coming here, especially in the summer! But glad it’s open year round so I can get my ice cream fix!

Stopped by on(I think?) a Monday night after having some«nomz» at Vanguard. The two restaurants have a deal where you get 15% off of your purchase at CCS if you dine at Vanguard… but silly me, I was so excited from all the choices of toppings that I forgot to give them my receipt, and thus, did not receive my discount. Boo me! So…getting to the actual review part… The staff are super friendly. I think it was the first night for one of the girls and she gave some good recommendations and helped explain their assortment of crepes(which I OBVIOUSLY need to come back for). The selection of frozen yogurt is small, but, I still found something I liked. They have a ton of toppings ranging from sauces to chocolate candy to gummy bears. I just wish they had hot fudge :( They also have a small library of board games and books — I sort of wish they did a trade in library where you could take a book and leave a book. And, they also have a rewards card.

I want so badly to love this place but I just don’t. Every time I have gone the staff has been preoccupied talking to friends instead of serving customers. I promised in my last review to go back and try a crêpe, I was thoroughly disappointed. The dough was over cooked and broke apart like a chip instead of a delicious crêpe. Maybe I’m a bit of a crêpe snob or just had my hopes up too high as I have eaten my fair share over seas, but that is not the right consistency!

This place. Sort of ingenious. Talking about it with my husband after he got an eggnog/red velvet shake, and I made a masterpiece out of peppermint froyo, was pretty hilarious. I don’t remember coming into many places where I think: «wow, there is something for everyone» but I pretty much think that about cream city swirl. They didn’t have shakes on the menu, but they had smoothies, so I thought they might be able to pull it off, and sure enough, they did. There is froyo, gelato, lots of toppings for the creator in you, there are crepes– savory and sweet, and there is soup! I was envisioning a family with multiple picky children coming to his place and one difficult kid saying«but I don’t want ice cream» and the parent saying«fine, then you can have soup» — of course I have no children, so it’s possible the conversation might not go exactly like this. Anyway, for $ 9.30, we both left happy. It seats about 10 – 15, but we had to get home To finish date night.

Crepes. Frozen yogurt. Gelato. Soon there will be soup. At first I didn’t like it because I have always been a fan of Yo Mama’s. But Cream City Swirl grew on me. The first time I went, I had a crêpe and it was delicious. I don’t remember what was on it but I do remember there was definitely chocolate on it. It was so yummy! The flavors of frozen yogurt always rotate. Whenever I go, there is always a different flavor. The toppings are always fun. I always put different combos of frozen yogurt together :-) I always mean to get gelato but the frozen yogurt always distracts me… haha!

Danger City, I’m the mayor with this place so close to home. I invited my honey on a stroll for ice cream after passing by earlier in the week. My joy turned to elation when I found this was a froyo gelato spot, with choose-your-own-adventure toppings! See, in the east many froyo spots do the topping scooping for me, which just doesn’t go well for me. I went with Tahitian Vanilla and Cali Tart. Such a good tart! The other flavors had me excited, too, but this trip had me all about the toppings. Candy galore, cheesecake and cookie dough, bobo balls, sour gummies! I went in for a final scoop of raspberries; you know, to keep it healthy. $ 10 later(for me and the honey) and we were enjoying and end-of-summer stroll around Bay View, swapping tasty bites.

This was my second trip to Cream City Swirl this summer. It’s great to have a family-owned frozen yogurt establishment in the neighborhood! The environment is bright, clean and cheerful and the staff are welcoming. Cream City Swirl offers several different frozen yogurt flavors and the usual toppings. There are many competitors in the frozen yogurt field. Cream City Swirl sets itself apart from the rest by offering a welcome addition of gelato and sweet crepes. The first time I visited I enjoyed frozen yogurt and a spoonful of my companion’s gelato. Their raspberry gelato is especially flavorful and refreshing. If I returned for a cold treat I would probably be more likely to order the gelato rather than the frozen yogurt. The prices here seem a bit higher compared to other frozen yogurt businesses throughout the city(48 cents per ounce as compared to 45 cents per ounce). However, I don’t want to nickle and dime it when it comes to dessert, the quality here is high. Tonight, I had a craving for crepes. So, I ordered a strawberry, banana and chocolate syrup crêpe. There was a sign posted requesting customers’ patience as crepes are made to order. I don’t usually mind waiting a bit for high quality food. However, I must admit I was feeling a little impatient. I recently returned from a trip to Seattle where I had Unicone Crepes for the first time and they were made in 90 seconds flat! Cream City Swirl’s crêpe was tasty. But, there is room for improvement when it comes to efficiency of making and wrapping the crêpe. If I return it will most likely be to satisfy a gelato craving rather than to indulge in frozen yogurt or a crêpe.
