Oh hell no. We just moved to a new house and needed to get some type of TV service going meaning the choice was between cable(nope, sorry never again), DirecTV or Dish. Dish currently has the best pricing and so I went online to set it up which should be a relatively simple process, right? Nope. I won’t go into the long, horrible story but I’m now on my third rep over 4 days and between online chat and the phone, it’s well over 2 hours of my time. Bottom line, they messed up during the credit check process and ended up «locking» me out because they pinged it so many times. They promised a call back to complete the process which of course never happened and when I finally did get set up complete they tried to bait and switch me to a more expensive package. On top of that, more than one rep tried to get me to give them a second credit card number — even though they acknowledged the first one worked just fine. Super, super, super shady. The whole process was time consuming, inconvenient, frustrating and more than a little sketchy. There are very limited choices for TV service in this market and I believe all of them suck. Know that Dish is no exception and in fact, sucks HARD.
