Exclusive Hair Design

As part of a spa day for a wedding I was in, I chose to get a 30 minute massage. The woman asked me what areas I would like her to focus on and I told her my back and neck. She worked on these areas for a little while but for some reason she decided to work for minutes at a time on each of my arms, to the point where they were tingling in an unpleasant way, along with some ridiculous pressure point crap that involved pressing her thumb into each foot for a couple of minutes. It was a total waste of the 30 minutes I had. I didn’t pipe up because I kept thinking that she would be done with those things soon and return to working on my back. I left with a little bit of aches and pains that I’m sure would have been relieved, had she focused on my back and neck as I had asked and had been looking forward to.
I also remembering trying this place for a haircut a while back and remember it being mediocre. The stylist left me a couple voicemail messages after the haircut to check in with me and schedule my next appointment, which struck me as pushiness disguised as concern. I didn’t want to schedule another appointment and am not interested in giving this place another shot.

I have been going to Exclusiva for about 3+ years and I love it. My husband even goes here for his haircuts. The staff is very personable, the atmosphere is urban but relaxing and I always leave happy. I have had, cuts, colors, highlights, lowlights, manicures, pedicures and my eyebrows waxed and I have been so satisfied with all of it. I am on my 4^th stylist there (the first 3 all moved, had babies etc) and have loved all of them. Now my current stylist is pregnant but I have no worries about having to temporarily switch to any of the other designers there while she is away. Everyone is talented and dedicated to making you look great. Highly recommend!
