Went here with my Red Hat group. I was told they only open this room to the public with their buffet on Wednesdays in December. Not sure if that is true. It was $ 21 for the buffet, a beverage and dessert. First of all, the room is gorgeous. They said it was redone because it had been negelected in the past. You could not tell. The beverage area is self serve and had coffee, tea, and iced tea. They had a bar for alcohol but that is extra and since I was there for lunch, was not interested. There was a sweet potato soup with candied pecans for a topping. Very good. Meats were turkey or ham. You got a small piece of both if you wanted. There was no fat on the ham which made me happy. They had a cornmeal stuffing which I thought was dry so added gravy to it. Nothing to write home about. There were several veggies to choose from. Our apple pie dessert was served by the waitress. This gets expensive because it cost us $ 8 to park a half block away. Afterwards we walked to Milwaukee Market so we got a little more use of our parking space. Nothing looked good enough to buy because we were so full but it was a fun visit to see all the foods & etc. for sale.
