My latest bath & body product obsession is L’Occitane. Mmmm… they just smell so good! I’m currently in love with their Almond line for skincare. Or Amande… And like Joanna T, I just like that it’s French. J’aime L’Occitane… My experience at this location, was that it’s basically in the middle of a busy shopping mall. The staff was very friendly and chatty with me – she even made sure that I left with some good samples after my purchase. She really walked me through the line and explained everything to me. Overpriced, yes. But it’s French… it’s L’Occitane… i think it’s worth the extra money to get high quality products. Au revoir L’Occitance… au bien tot!

I’m a solid 3.5 on L’Occitaine’s Mayfair store. Like: *Friendly staff *High quality products that do work *Made in France. I like France. *A really good place to buy gifts for mom/sister/girlfriend type people Don’t Like: *Ginormous chain. Their items are also sold in places like Nordstrom, Sephora etc as well as stand alone retail stores. *Way overpriced. $ 12+ for a tiny tube of hand cream? I mean, it is really good hand cream but still… L’Occitaine is located in Mayfair’s central court area aka«the crossroads of hell» according to hubs because this area contains JJill, Sephora, L’Occitaine and other stores I like and he hates. He does like the handy benches right outside.
