It says they’re open until 3:30 Thursday through Saturday, but we showed up at 2am Thursday and they were extremely closed. Like all lights off, no one in the building. Just a heads up

I have stopped in a few times when they are not busy. Got my gyro soon enough. Had enough meat, some onions, little tomato. Better than other places not as good a Abu’s. The owner was nice. The cook glared at me from the kitchen. I have eaten at Oakland gyro, the one on Fondu lac ave, and the gyro stand on Oakland not far from Outpost. For less than $ 7 bucks, it close to home. I walk out and ate it on my walk.

In general the food here is really bland, so be prepared to ask for about 7 or 8 extra lemon wedges to squeeze over everything. The one exception is the saganaki, which is strangely the best you’ll find anywhere. I’m Greek so I know what I’m talking about. I also like the desserts. Thanks

Great food, especially late at night when you’re heading home from the bars. They get busier and busier as the night goes on so you know the food must be good! Chicken tenders are the best!

Portions are small and I don’t like staff. Food is very very average. I’ve been here a few times because they’re open late. And after drinks, I’ll eat almost anything. They’re shy about giving ketchup and napkins. Come on!

I love gyros… I think I’ve mentioned this in previous reviews… So I was excited when this was chosen as the spot to grab lunch with a few friends on a whim. I got the gyros pita. Was it good? Yeah duh it was a gyro. But if I wanted my gyro with olives and feta, I would’ve spent an extra $ 6. The gyro itself was a pita, white onions, two slices of tomato, lamb, and a bottle of tzatziki for $ 5.75. So yeah… it was ok. fine. I’ll probably be back due to proximity and ease of grabbing a last minute lunch with friends, but when I’m craving a gyro… this won’t be my first stop.

i enjoy coming to this place as it’s right next to my apartment. very tasty avegolemono and hummus, their baked chicken dishes are solid. the sagonaki is really good too. i haven’t even had a drunken gyro there yet! their greek omelete isn’t that great and their greek breakfast comes with fries instead of greek potatoes, which threw me off… i am planning on sticking to lunch/dinner here but will definitely be back.

Ya sas! Every time I come here I’m treated like family, and leave happy and well fed. My favorite is the Saganaki – you get dinner and a show!

It’s not so good. I’ve had better gyro experiences in my life! And they serve it in a very messy way. Even the coffee couldn’t save the meal. You can find better options inside Metro Market just across the street.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been here, but I will say that every time I ventured into this establishment I was met with heart hello’s and delicious smells. Everything that I tried was always delicious. My favorites are the tried and true beef gyro minus onion and the lemon chicken soup. Both mouth smacking my delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this Milwaukee treasure.

Ordered 30 $ worth of food including a Tzatziki Appetizer via Eat Street. Only gave the pita bread portion of the order, no Tzatziki, cucumber… nothing. Called to ask about it he says he forgot to put it in the bag, I ask if they are delivering it and he hung up. No real apology. Assumed it would be delivered correctly(at this point it is the minimum, I paid for it). Never comes. Call asking where it is and tell him I want a full refund for not getting what I paid for. He says he will give me something extra next time I order… hello, I’m never ordering from you again. That is ridiculous customer service. Apollo is way better. Don’t support this place.

Another great place nearby. We are so lucky to be in East Town this summer. Good tasting gyros and shish kabob. Nice prices and lots of other interesting items to try next time. It seems like a good place to sit and work as well, with free wifi and a clean, well lighted space(to misquote Hemingway). The patio looks enticing as well.

I’ve been here multiple times for breakfast and dinner and I can say the bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich is delicious, nothing special but hits the spot every time. The gyro plate is also good at dinner, I’ve tried it with the potatoes and rice as my sides and have decided it’s best to just get fries on the side. The rice has little flavor and the potatoes are dry. Service is good and there’s never a wait.

I love the price point. The food has always been satisfying. The service is quick and extremely efficient. To note: one dish potatoes, eggs and something else. The potatoes were french fries from the night before. Now I finished the dish in its entirety, but it wasn’t what I expected. The meal was under $ 5 and I couldn’t have been happier. Great meals on the quick, especially if you are entertaining people from out of town.

I will occasionally grab lunch at Mykonos. I almost always get the Gyro Plate and fries. It’s boring and simple, but quite tasty and the portion size is big enough to send me back to work full and not really ready to go back to work. Overall, its good, not great. But I am perfectly fine with that.

This place doesn’t compare to Oakland Gyros. The guys behind the counter are rude and the food takes forever to come out. The taste of the gyro meat is ok but the bread and cucumber sauce taste terrible.

I’ve been visiting Mykonos for over a decade. Most often frequented during my college days near bar close, I always got the Greek burger. It was a delicious burger topped with onions, feta, and black olives. It probably still exists, but I haven’t ordered it in a decade. Instead, I’ve switched up my regular order to the Gyro. I must say, that I never really liked it back during my college days, probably because I was just barely acquiring my taste for fine food. Growing up in rural Iowa, all we had was a American and Mexican food. Greek was totally«Greek to me». The gyro is absolutely amazing due to its simplicity. A nuce pita, tons of white onions, perfectly seasoned lamb meat with a nice crispy but not overcooked outside, tomatoes, and a squirt bottle of cucumber sauce for you to apply. It is amazing. I’m used to American Euros, where I have to put bacon and feta on it(because theirs is apparently bland compared to this). I sometimes pair it up with a bowl of the Avgolemono soup. Its a tasty rice, lemon, chicken soup(if I recall correctly). If I’m yet more adventurous, the Saganaki was a spectacle. Flaming Greek cheese with brandy. Enough said. I’m happy that I work near here, because the food is delicious and some college memories are remembered again.

So… after my last absolutely terrible breakfast experience, I wanted to gain something else to compare it to. Not all breakfast places downtown can be terrible, right? Right. I went to Mykonos, and I was pleasantly surprised with how quick the service was, how good the food was, and how cheap it was. I went in on a Thursday morning and was surprised to find the place pretty packed. I was even more surprised to find that it was just one person working the counter, and you ordered, then sat down to wait for your food to come. This seemed like it could be a recipe for disaster. On my last visit to a different place(that won’t be mentioned, but won’t be hard to find in my previous reviews) I went to a restaurant with a full waitstaff, and my food took 50 minutes to arrive. Much to my surprise, my food arrived in 13 minutes… and it was delicious. The french toast was nice and fluffy, the hash browns were plentiful and crispy, and although the sausage was nothing great, it was still tasty and hot. Despite the fact that there was only 1 person working the counter and delivering the food, she was kicking butt at it, and food got out quickly. I’ll definitely be back.

Descriptive phrase: drunk and/or hungover deliciousness. Oh Mykonos, I’m sorry I’m not sorry that I’ve never actually had Greek food from you. Walking home from the bars? Stop in and grab a greasy shredded beef hoagie or burger with the best late-night fries you’ll taste(and forget). Woke up with a hangover? Come take a seat on their patio(painted like the Greek isles) and enjoy your bagel sandwich and pile of hashbrowns. It’s good for what it is; unpretentious diner food. It’s pricey enough to notice, but not enough to not order it. I keep coming back.

In the neighborhood, I once again let Unilocal bring me here and it was a good choice for lunch. At the counter, I opted for the eponymous gyro and skipped the fountain Pepsi for a bottle of water. A few minutes later, the gal brought my order to my table. A good amount of sliced lamb donner, with onions and two slices of tomato, all piled up on top of a grilled pita bread. I was pleased that the onions weren’t too hot and I think they didn’t make my breath too bad, as some of us do have to go back to work in the afternoon. The lamb was a little crispy(maybe that’s the way they do it here) and the gyro had soaked up most of the oily goodness. I was particularly pleased with the«unlimited» squeezy bottle of tzatziki sauce. I’ve not seen it done that way and it was a great idea. It always seems like there’s never enough to match the amount of food on my plate. A good meal for a good price. I’d return!
