This Pick-N-Save is basically useless due to the fact that they don’t sell alcohol. The only time I go is the day before a big holiday or an epic snow storm since apparently no one else goes there either. The nice part about it is that it’s small so it’s a quick in and out if you are in a hurry. Honestly I hate all Pick-N-Saves but this one tends to be my least favorite. I guess it could be from that time I went there on a Friday after work to buy chips and gossip magazines. «Wow, looks like you are going to have an awesome Friday night as a single girl, way to waste a Friday» as said by the jerk 20 something male cashier. I’ll stick to my usually State St Pick-N-Save where the cashiers are too busy hating the corporation to care what I buy and I get to see Tom Barrett rockin’ some sweet dad jeans!

Why do I shop here? Well, it is my neighborhood store. It’s fine for picking up something you need last minute, but not for«grocery» shopping, The meat department is nonexistent and there are never any cashiers. I appreciate the location, but not much else about this store is worth mentioning — expect maybe that there is a Red Box in the lobby. Thanks Chairman Bob!

Oofta. This is my grocery store strictly because it is the closest to my house, and easiest to get to based upon my typical travel patterns. They never have enough people working the registers. They have a minimal, if any, selection of fish/seafood. They never keep the baskets at the entrance of the store. They always pile up by the registers, an no staff ever moves them over to the register. it DRIVES me nuts. There is one guy at the deli counter that if he is working, i won’t buy meat. Other than that, it is your basic grocery store with no frills. I imagine that this must be on the short list of pick n saves for remodels.
