Milwaukee PODS is a storage company located at 445 W. Oklahoma Ave. in Milwaukee, WI. Their phone number is(866) 244‑8050. The company has been a tremendous help to The Milwaukee Junior League and other non-profit, volunteer organizations with their storage facility services. PODS have a unique method for its storage devices. They use storage sheds that are portable. They are very sturdy structures and when used effectively can hold a sizeable amount of items, potentially as much as an average basement. They can place a container in your driveway, and they can also store the container in their facility. The Junior League uses pods as a way to store furniture and clothing for their annual grand garage sale. The last garage sale was in April of 2012. The sale usually raises between $ 5000 to$ 15,000 dollars which is then used by the non-profit organization as a major resource to pay for the organization’s many volunteer/community programs. Junior league past programs include teaching art to the at risk youth of downtown Milwaukee. Many individual members also donate their time and money to assist in many programs sponsored by the junior league that include working with Meta house, Ronald McDonald house, kids in the kitchen, and helping foster children transition into the community upon turning 18.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Milwaukee, WI
It’s PODs the storage container people. I’ve used them a few times in the last four years, and they’re pretty good. I’d use them again. The staff at this location are friendly and helpful. The containers are solid and we’ve had no issues with leaks or anything. They’re reasonably prompt at dropping off and picking up a container. It rocks to just go out your door and put stuff in. If you can get a container dropped in both locations this is awesome for a cross town move. It gets expensive if you need the POD moved to a different warehouse/office, but for SEWI I believe it’s all from this place. One good thing is that there’s no charge for them to get your container out of the warehouse to their staging area for access, and it’s a secure seeming location. The PODs are stored inside the warehouse and only employees have access. Be aware if you are in the city of MKE and have no off street spot for a POD it’s a PIA. Unlike a dumpster there is not a permit you can get, but you can still use them like a regular storage place. We’ve been close enough to their facility in Bayview that it hasn’t been a huge deal.
