I spent many a night with friends and co-workers at «the Rick» back in the day, when I worked in the area. This place has taken a dive, and not in a good way. Nothing has changed. Sometimes that’s good — in this case, it’s bad. The same crotchety bartenders and waitstaff are here. As one reviewer pointed out, if you’re not a regular, you are not treated the same. Too bad.
Good news: the old lady with her arm in a sling is still plugging quarters into the ‘not a gambling’ machine in the corner.
I can’t say as though I would come back again.

I had no idea this place existed until I came through on a pub crawl. The owner was working behind the bar and was extremely nice and welcoming to everyone in our group. Then he pulled out trays of their homemade pizza and gave it to our entire group for free.
The pizza was surprisingly awesome… homemade, thin crust. The vibe is old-school supper club inside, but it’s really more of a neighborhood corner tavern with great, extremely reasonably priced food. I’d go back in anytime I’m in the area…
