Rollies

Came in here on a Sat night with my gf around 9:30. I had been wanting to try their burgers so we figured we’d give it a shot. We were reluctant to stop in initially, bc there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. When we walked in, we actually asked the bartender if they were open bc there were no customers inside.
Let me just say that the burgers were amazing. So cheap too. $ 5 for a mushroom swiss burger!!! Wow! Even the pool was only 50 cents. For $ 27 including tip, we got 3 beers, 2 burgers and an app. Hell of a deal.
The bartender told us the place had been there since ’72 and always had the same owner. Apparently he’s looking to sell it, but if he does, I hope the prices and the quality of the food are kept the same. I’ll give the place the benefit of the doubt that we were the only ones there due to the State Fair, but I hope it’s not the norm to be completely empty on a Sat night. Otherwise, they’ll be forced to shut down instead of simply sold and a great burger joint with great prices would be gone.

I promised cook/​waitress/​hostess/​bartender Shannon that I would write up a well-​deserved review for Rollie’s, and here it is. We showed up with a group of 8 hungry people and Shannon was running the whole show by herself. She managed to whip up our 8 different orders, including delicious, hand formed burgers, an outstanding thick hot dog, wings, fries and the rest. And she got it all right, with a smile! Great job Shannon at what I would affectionately call a genuine Packet bar.

I will echo others’ compliments of the burgers. Really outstanding. Was there for a late lunch on a Tuesday and it was pretty dead. This is your typical Wisconsin dive bar that could pass for a sports bar. It would appear race fans would feel particularly at home there. There is an outside seating area as well. If for no other reason go for the burgers.

I absolutely love Rollies! The beer is ice cold and the people are the friendliest. My coworker and I stopped in after work last week and could not stop talking about the gem we found and when we could go back! We ended up going back two days later and plan to frequently stop by for an after work treat!

Hold the phone, bomb ass burgers and drinks. SIGN ME UP. But for real, come and have a lunch date for 2; you and the sexy ass burger you’re about to eat. It’s magical. Or come in at night and get drunk with the «locals» lol idk do as you want it’s your life and this is my review.
5 out of 5 stars because yeah I said so and you can’t change that. Also the food.
