Save Milwaukee

I live in Los Angeles, where I’ve done over 30 escape rooms — it’s become quite the expensive hobby. I’m back home for the holidays and was excited to introduce a group of Milwaukee friends to my new obsession.
I gotta say, this room was a very pleasant surprise. While the look of the room was a little bland, the puzzles were for the most part excellent. It’s rare I run into a puzzle that’s totally new to me, and this room had two memorable standouts. Great use of technology, including puzzles that require physical teamwork (the best kind).
The owner/​operator was a friendly, quirky gentleman who enthusiastically brought us into the story of the room. We had a chance to chat with him afterwards and his next room, The Election, sounds fantastic — wish I was going to be around when it opens!
My only gripe about this place was that we found it too easy — we broke the record and escaped in about 25 minutes. That was probably due to having a couple veterans on the team. If this is one of your first rooms (and seeing as I’ve only found 6 in Milwaukee, it probably is!), I absolutely recommend it. Good times!

This was a lot of fun. I had purchased a Groupon for here. Got a great deal and I’ve always wanted to do one of the Escape rooms so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity. I purchased 6 tickets and went with family. We all had a blast.
The owner was very nice & friendly and gave us a brief intro before we entered the room. There were plenty of clues & things to do/​look at/​open and read for all of us. While it did take us the whole hr, we did figure it out &, «Save Milwaukee,» even though there was a malfunction at the end of it. We still won/​solved it and were credited with doing so. The 6 of us doing it were perfect. Anymore would be too crowded. That’s why I liked this one. No more than 6, «agents» can be in a room at a time and what’s nice is they don’t put you in the room with any strangers.
I would definitely return and do the second challenege (which will be open in the next couple of months). I can’t wait to go back and rig the election!

When my friends and I decided to try out an escape room, there were three different places to choose from in the area. I admit I contacted all three-​Save Milwaukee was the one that was easiest to schedule with and the only one I heard back from in a timely manner. Save Milwaukee is locally run and conveniently located in the 3^rd Ward. The staff (owner?) who greeted us and explained everything was very friendly and the task of working together to solve the room was challenging enough, but not TOO challenging as to get us discouraged! Save Milwaukee runs some specials on tickets occasionally, which makes it even more affordable. We are very excited to return and do the next puzzle!
