Steinhafels Furniture & Mattress

Very disappointed. Buyer beware! After furnishing two rooms from lighting to area rugs and having a great experience with the sales associate, the warehouse administrative staff were unprofessional & rude & the management and buyers lack of response has ensured that I will not shop there again nor recommend them. After waiting 8+ weeks for furniture delivery, I was called that all had arrived. I cleared my living room & dining room to the bare walls. Two days before delivery, I was left a voice message by delivery that the wrong sofa was shipped by manufacturer. She did not even leave her name on the voice message. When I called to have that clarified, the person who I spoke to was rude, condescending and completely thoughtless. When the sales associate jumped in, ON HER DAY OFF to get me more info, two managers and the buyer did not respond to her multiple requests to be contacted. I am now expected to receive mdse & begin making payments when the single most important piece of furniture has not arrived & no idea when it will. Ironically, they have 7 back orders for the same item. I strongly suspect that the sectional did arrive and was picked wrong by the warehouse staff and delivered to another customer. The only other explanation is that the receiving staff is stupid enough to receive merchandise without inspection.

I’ve come to this Steinhafels a few times, and I’m never sure why I come back. The staff’s overall attitude is fairly condescending, and it seems like you get a new person to work with for each department (which makes absolutely no sense to me, I’d rather work with one person the whole time).
Also, the whole place is WAY overdone. Too much decoration in small spaces — it’s very hard to actually look at the furniture.
And the quality makes me nervous. Sure, the prices are low, but WHY are they so low? Hmmmm?
