It’s about GodDamn time they rebuild this place. I was getting pretty tired of going to George Webb’s at bar close. They completely tore down the old building and we were without the local TB for about six months. I’m assuming the cockroaches had taken over and driven everyone else out. The new restaurant is much nicer than the old one. Finally there is an intercom that one can understand. That, or Charlie Brown’s teacher doesn’t work here anymore. What I really don’t miss is that awful bullet-proof money changing drawer. I feel like 40% less of a criminal now that I can hand my money directly to the employee. I got to hand it to them, they never screw anything up here no matter how drunk I am when I give them my order. Let the late-night check-ins resume!

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, this West Side Taco Bell has been reborn. My assumption is that they razed the old location because it was just«that gross» and needed a fresh start. In any case, the new building is certainly more appealing. In terms of «food» — you know what you’re getting when you visit Taco Bell. It probably starts with a few too many drinks and ends with heartburn, regrets and possibly«The Troubles». Let’s be real here — TB is a great spot for«drunchies» — it’s fast, cheap, greasy, salty and full of carbs. Surprisingly, the workers here never mess up an order no matter how drunk, irritating or incoherent my group has been. They always seem to be polite too — considering what they generally deal with in terms of patrons that’s impressive. «Taco Bell Workers — The Real American Heroes»
