This is my second time visiting Tigerbite and I was unfortunately disappointed this time around. I had the phở-nita(I think that is right) and being a big phở fan, I thought this would be better. The sweet potato fries were also greasy and limp. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, but I hope it isn’t a trend of things to come.

I love your food Tigerbite but so sad you always run out of the veggie stuff first at big events… veggie eggrolls are great when I can get them! Sweet potato fries are also a winner. My friends always love the tacos, wish I could get a tofu version!.. ;)

I had Tiberbite for the first time today. I can’t compare it to other food trucks in the area, since I’m currently here visiting and never had other area truck food. I was really impressed with the food, I had two pork tacos and one beef taco. After ordering I was wishing I would have gotten one of each(chicken instead of one of the porks). I would have given 5 stars, but I had to wait quiet a while to get my food.

Korean BBQ and Mexican taco truck? Yes please! It’s hard to rate a truck for ambiance, but I’ll give 1 service(came out fast) 2 for food(food was good but some was great) and 1 for ambiance/cost(I mean, it’s a truck, but it’s inexpensive :) I have consumed many things from trucks. I am so very pleased that MKE is doing the food truck thing. and with people like Tigerbite doing it well, things keep looking good. I ordered the Taco Trio. It’s a good way to sample«their best». I always judge Latin restaurants on their pork. In this case, the Taco Trio includes 1 pork, 1 chicken and 1 beef taco all Mexi-Korean styled. By far, the BEST of the three was the chicken. I could have had just chicken tacos because whatever they braise the chicken in makes it delicious. They have a variety of sauces from sweet-n-sour to hot. It’s definitely worth checking out. But as always, this is a food truck so if you expect to get a gourmet meal you’re likely to be sorely disappointed. If you want some rockin’ tacos, this is a good option. CAVEAT: Pork and Beef are generally slow-cooked, so I’d imagine those things are hard to do on a truck. But what do I know, I cook my food in a house not a truck. :)

I believe I got the Bomb A and the phonite? Is that right?(I just rhymed if you didn’t notice, watch out Kanye.) Any way, it was ok, I’ve heard rave reviews, and it didn’t meet that, but it definitely was good. I feel like the flavors could have been more developed, and maybe the meat wasn’t seasoned enough? I wanted some salt or something. And then, my tortilla ripped and that always chaps my ___. I definitely am still going to try all of the other food trucks though and compare, maybe an adjustment in score may be in order.

Super yummy food truck! I am a huge fan of the phở tacos! However, despite the fact the prices are along the line of the other food trucks, I still think that the food is priced too high to say that it is a great value. Also, while I understand that everything is made on the spot, I still think that it takes a bit too long to get the food especially since Tiger Bite offers a limited menu. Despite all of that, I am a big fan and I choose Tiger Bite as my food truck of choice!

Had a BLT sandwich & sweet potato fries at Cathedral Square last Saturday afternoon. Sandwich was good and the fries were also surprisingly tasty.

On my second trip to Food Truck Friday, I tried Tigerbite. A friend and I split a Taco Combo. The best thing on the plate, by a longshot were the Sweet Potato Fries. They were light, crispy with a delicate, fluffy interior. They also were perfectly seasoned! The Tacos were disappointing. When I think Korean BBQ Sauce, I expect the bold flavors of Soy, Ginger, Chili and Garlic along with the sweetness from Sugar or Honey. My Taco filling was just sweet. Really one dimensional. So Five Stars for the Fries and Two Stars for the Taco equals 3.5 Stars.

Quality all the way. Tigerbite is mix of Asian and Mexican food classics. Being a fan of Phở the Phở-nita hit the spot. The sweet potato fries are the best. The BBQ Korean taco was sweet and tangy. This is a fantastic food truck, hands down. Probably not hands down more like hands full of delicious global tacos

I had heard good things about Tigerbite so I tried them today. Got the three different tacos and veggie eggrolls. I know that authentic Mexican tacos are always on corn tortillas, and maybe it’s just me, but that flavor totally drowned out all the others – couldn’t really even tell there was savory Korean grilled meat in them. Not bad, but, for me, would be 10x better on flour tortilla. Not sure what was in the veggie egg roll. It tasted like vermicelli cooked in shrimp paste or fish sauce. I didn’t like them at all. Nor did my wife. Love the black truck and the minimalist look. Not so wowed by the food. Maybe they could consider offering the tacos on flour for us tastebud deficient diners.

I tried the veggie egg rolls today at Tigerbite. They were lightly fried. I was not overly impressed but not terribly disappointed either. 2 for $ 3.50 and they are served with mint and lettuce and sauce(which you put on yourself). I thought that made them taste a little bit better when you wrapped them with the mint and lettuce. Meh. Maybe I will give their tacos a whirl next time.

While Korean BBQ fused with Mexican isn’t a new food truck concept(see Portland’s Koi Fusion or Los Angeles’ Kogi) I think Tigerbite does it justice. Good flavor, street food prices and some unexpected ingredients. ORDERED: Bomb«A» Taco — $ 2.50(Grilled Asian chicken in savory sauce topped with fresh crunchy Asian slaw) Generous with the chicken, had a nice sweet flavor, good textures with cole slaw/protein/corn tortilla. Not too messy. POST: I’m going to try everything on Tigerbite’s menu over the next few months. Cathederal Park on a nice day = pretty hard to beat. I heard someone in line say they sometimes offer Bánh mì. Meow. SMALLWINDOW: Tigerbite’s order window is TINY! It’s like a convenience store cash register in a ghetto. Slide your money under the glass and they give you a taco. FEARTHEROOSTER: Sriracha. Help yourself to it. Hell yeah.

I tried out Tigerbite at Food Truck Friday in Cathedral Square. The park is line with all of the different food trucks Milwaukee has to offer. Tigerbite isn’t bad as far as food trucks go. There truck isn’t painted with fancy colors and designs like some of the other trucks were. So, I may not have even tried them if I hadn’t gotten a recommendation from a friend. I think curb appeal goes a long way with food trucks! Make me want to try your food. I got the beef tacos. It was a corn tortilla, beef, some shredded cheese and cabbage. They were pretty good, with not much spice to them. I added some of the hot sauce they had to offer to give them alittle zing. Definitely worth trying giving it a try.
