Timmerman Field Airport

Review #747 goes to MWC-​Timmerman field. Also a pet name for Timmy T. my 4 legged God Dog/​Son. This is a good airport for recreational pilots. It’s really easy to spot friends as traffic here is far less than. MKE. Only 4 runways 2 are grass 2 are asphalt. Rarely ever see jet planes usually single engine and a few double engines. It’s a nice stop for recreational/​private pilots for a fuel and fly. Especially if you are on your way to the EAA Fly in convention at OSH-​Whittman regional airport. Last week full week of July.

Small, cozy, and friendly, the highlight of stopping into this airport to pick up a friend was the 45 cent hot chocolate from the vending machine! (We’d been flying for a bit and it was frosty up there!) From a pilot’s perspective, I’ve heard that the air fuel at this airport is cheaper than many others.
