Okay, I’m not a regular consumer of toys and I know the rep this store has. It’s time for an update. At one time, this neighborhood was looking plenty bleak. Northridge closed years ago and has been standing empty.(It’s owned by a Chinese development firm, only nothing is developing.) American, just down the road, closed up. Walmart moved its Servite Drive location to 103rd and Silver Spring. A Chinese restaurant closed and reopened as a funeral home with some rather bizarre signage. The building right next door was torn down recently. But there are signs of life here! Several retail establishments in the area are thriving, there are several office buildings in the area. Menard’s stands where Sears used to be. A new Walmart has opened up the street in Brown Deer, perhaps a harbinger of the renaissance of the Northridge neighborhood. Toys R US is an excellent example of the revival. This store was scheduled to be closed, which might explain some past problems. That is no longer true, the store is open and will stay open! There have been big changes here. The store is clean, brightly lit and well stocked. There is plenty of staff and everyone goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. As of this writing, this location has an enormous inventory of the new Skylanders characters, Disney’s Infinity characters, a huge selection of Lego sets and a very large assortment of infants needs. Check out the renaissance, and if you’re in the market for toys, it’s worth a visit to check out the much-improved Toys R Us.

Yuck… Dirty, horrible customer service. I only go out of necessity and that is not often. If you go around Christmas time, you are asking for it. Do not count on this location to have any«hot» toy in stock. One thing is for sure, you will find parking.
