The pizza is OK, but is expensive, nothing to go out of your way for. The steak sandwich is not a steak sandwich it is a hamburger basically. It was supposed to come with chips and a pickle and they told me to go orders don’t get that. Plus the sandwich was supposed to come with cheese and it didn’t and was all soggy. The garlic bread is nasty it was soaked in some yellow sauce with soggy bread. I definitely wouldn’t really recommend this place. I don’t understand some of the comments saying this place was so good.

Vinchi’s is like the Safe House of pizza places. You have to know that it is hidden in the back of the Bubbler bar or there is no tasty pizza for you! Also, just like any good«hidden» gem they don’t take credit or checks so bring your greenbacks. You can opt to have delivery(which can be slow), take out, sit at the bar or sit in the little back area by Vinchi’s. Personally I opt for the bar and have a drink while I wait for my tasty ‘za. It is much better when you have it piping hot out of the oven vs. waiting until you devour it at home. The crust here is a typical Milwaukee thin cracker crust. The sauce is on the sweeter side piled with the right amount of toppings. There are no artichoke hearts here just your typical Milwaukee special with some typical toppings. nothing too exotic. If you asked for something fancy they would probably ignore you and laugh… this is a pizzeria tucked in the back of a south side bar! If you aren’t feeling pizza I highly recommend the pork chop sandwich. For $ 10 you get a HUGE sandwich which you could share or devour it all by yourself and be a little piggy. The pizza and garlic bread is solid but nothing life changing. If you are in Bay View and find yourself at a bar without food I recommend calling them for a pie delivery. Delivery can take up to an hour so plan accordingly. Pizza is their signature not service.

Their pizza is amazing if you like thin crust and a lot of cheese. The sausage tastes homemade nice and peppery. The garlic cheese bread is awesome if you dig garlic. My fav pizza in the city. It’s cash only but the pizza is very affordable. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem in the back of the bubblr

Vinchi’s is one of those places that are a hidden treasure . The sandwiches are to die for. The pizza, delicious. The bar is a nice place to have a beer while you wait.

Very good pizza and garlic bread. Glad we knew beforehand that it is cash only! Don’t believe we d make a special trip down there again, but it was very tasty nonetheless!

Good pizza, no complaints except that they don’t have sides of ranch. Although cash only is unfortunate… Also beware of delivery availability; it seems sporadic so be prepared to go pick it up or order from somewhere else.

Make sure to wash your hands before you eat. Cash is filthy. Yeah. Cash only, son. You know what that means. Tax evasion. Higher profit margins. Reinvestment in pizza. And friendship. Maybe a little of that old-fashioned, late-night, «I’ll pay this if you give me that and you don’t say anything.» Maybe put this in your pocket and type that in the register and we’re all square. Maybe you meet me in the alley with 5 pizzas and I’ll give you that muntjac you’ve had your eye on. [Reference: & ] To get pizza this good, you need to get involved with people who make high-quality backroom deals within Milwaukee’s vibrant underground economy. Here’s an insider tip for squares and/or rubes: When a bartender or service industry type of any sort gives you something for free, give them the money for it anyway. Quietly. Especially if you are a repeat customer. That’s the signal. [Well, one such signal. This is only a hint/tip.] You’re still getting a deal. Your bill, with tip, is still lower than if they hadn’t given you something for free. But now you’ve responded properly to the secret sign. Things will begin slowly from there. Maybe. Never ask. Never push it. They will invite you if you are chosen. That is all. So yeah, awesome pizza, albeit a touch higher in price than some competitors. But they don’t want to hand their pizza through a half-door to just anyone. You gotta be liquid, holding, and in the back of a bar. The pizza is great and it’s huge. I promise you’ll love it. I always like to support cash only establishments. You know whomever instituted a cash policy has some things going on. Things. Plus, they are creative thinkers. Maybe instead of cash, they’ll take your framed Favre & Rodgers rookie cards. Maybe it’s a totally legit business model. But I bet you could do some swindling and charming and maybe create your own pie without the upcharge. With that smile? Golly. Make sure to wash your hands before you eat. That cash is filthy.

CASHONLY, they informed me after 40 minutes of waiting on delivery. Not even a check. No apology or anything. That was what really sealed the deal for me. Never going to try these folks!

When in Rome… er, when at the Bubbler, eat Vinchi’s Pizza! This thin crust pizza is Delicious with a capital D. I’ve only had Vinchi’s Pizza while dining in at the Bubbler so I can’t speak to how well it travels. If you sit at the bar, you can pay via credit card for drinks but you will still need cash for the food as it is prepared and served by the restaurant in the back of the bar. If you sit at a table, pay cash for the whole experience. If you order a pizza, be prepared to wait between 30 minutes to an hour because I’ll bet they follow stringent perfect pizza preparation practices. Proper. Dixie paper plates and napkins will be delivered to you along with a rack of parmesan and pepper flakes in jars and you will think«is my pizza on its way??» But no, it will still be a bit longer. This pizza comes to your table smoking hot. It will stare at you suggestively and say«what are you waiting for, big timer?!» We burned our mouths, you know… the little tender flap of flesh right behind your front teeth, the first time we ate it, and as such I don’t think we had the full appreciation for how good the pizza was. But we went back. The thin crust was uniformly cornmeal dusted crunchy all across the bottom. The sauce was savory. The meats were meaty. The cheese was buttery. Pizza perfection in my book. While waiting for your pizza, you can listen to some jukebox tunes or watch some sports on several TVs. You may have to endure six songs in a row involving David Lee Roth that someone else picked, but the pizza will make it all worthwhile.

A business INSIDE a business? The files are INSIDE the computer? –Zoolander Yes. Meta. Biz on biz on biz. Vinchi’s Pizza: a cash-only pizza, etc., operation that operates at its discretion from inside The Bubbler, a dive-ish/sports bar on Howell. Mad deals anytime a Wisconsin team plays, plus… amazing pizza. I have found the one(s) whom my soul loves, you guys.(The Bubbler + Vinchi’s) After just one go, I can confidently say this ‘za is in my top five MKE pizza picks. No question. Mushrooms… canned! Avoid. Sausage… sweet! Smoky! A touch… breakfasty? Calling the crust killer is an understatement and sauce is on point, I only wish there was more of it… dat sauce, doe. This pizza is good; really good and worth the trek and try if you’re not a south sider. Sometimes, they’re not open, because discretion. If it’s a holiday proper or even if you’re bookending a holiday, give ‘em a ring before venturing over b/c they may not be open. Additionally, call ahead if you’re in a rush, it takes about a half hour or so for your delicious secret/speakeasy ‘za to actualize.

This guy makes an excellent pizza. We ordered a basic mushroom pizza, and it was really good. It seemed like he was using multiple cheeses. It had the best flavor, and the cheese had the perfect consistency. It is definitely worth five stars.

Cash only operation. Takes 35 minutes for pick up. Well worth it. I drive down from the East Side regularly to pick up a Vinchi’s pie and recently tested out the sandwich menu. The Chicken Parm is different but great. The chicken is not deep fried but grilled, sesame seed bun, and heavy on the chicken. Fantastic. The pizza is one of the better I have had in the city. If I am not getting a pie at Time Square, I will go here. The sauce has a unique flavor, almost like there is some cinnamon in there. Real tasty.

Vinchy’s Pizza is a hidden gem in the southeastern Milwaukee/Bayview area. Their pizza is incredible! If you’re looking for a new pizza place to try out, I highly recommend Vinchy’s! Just be aware, it’s cash-only, but there’s an ATM inside(Vinchy’s is located inside a bar«The Bubble»).

This is my favorite pizza in Bay View now that Mama Demarinis is closed down. I like Classic Slice, and Dom n Phils, but I think Vinchis is a step above for a thin crust za. The cheese bread is a winner too, and they deliver. My personal favorite is the sausage/mushroom/onion. The only thing that could be better is if they too credit cards instead of just cash.

Vinchi’s pizza was formerly located in the Sandcastle bar on s 16th. The ultra thin crust on the pizza was definitely a memory for me along with the unique tomato sauce. The pizza was either hand tossed for rolled with a dough rolling machine.
