Great atmosphere. Would visit again. Service sucked though. Bartender seemed more interested in talking to his friends and pouring them up drink after drink than he did in tending to the rest of the people patiently waiting for him to serve them.

This place has a pool table and PBR. It’s good in my book. I wasn’t blown away by there draft list and the beer that I did try on draft was a little flat. Great place to stop by for some laughs

This is literally my home away from home. I have been a frequent flier here for years and enjoy the bartenders and the guests in the bar. Super fun place that everyone should give a try if they like a chill atmosphere!

I’m surprised it took me this long to review Vintage. Living super close, this is our go-to bar that’s in walking distance. What can I say really, it’s a cool little corner bar with decent people and a jukebox(not the old timey kind). They have trivia I think 2 nights a week, ditched the karaōke, and have a pool table/darts. They have a little lounge area with a couch and have live music regularly. During special events they will sometimes have food provided which is pretty awesome. Drinks are reasonably priced. I’m not enough of a regular there to know everyone who works there currently but Becky and Craig are nice people. I highly recommend stopping in for a drink and to chill.

Boozing it up on a Tuesday evening and rambling through Happy Hours around the East side of town we decided to stop in Vintage. This place is perfect. I’m actually surprised we haven’t been before. It’s a relaxed little dive that suits us just fine. The bartender Becky was excellent and we enjoyed drinks and conversation with a few of the patrons. We will be back again.

Lots of great times here. Decently priced, and the crowd isn’t super college-y despite it’s proximity to UW. Karaōke, trivia, and live music depending on the night. There’s also a pool table, but I’ve never once played in all the times I’ve been here. A solid bar that’s above a dive, but below a lounge. Me likey.

I prefer bars where they respect whiskey drinkers. I ordered a good whiskey, carefully phrasing that I wanted only a single pour without any ice in a proper whiskey glass. The Chief of Staff, who had already had a couple, blurted out«neat!» and when I glared at her, the bartender said, «don’t worry, I know what he wants.» So, I got a generous pour in a real whiskey rocks glass, without the sneaky hidden ice/no-ice up-charge. Obviously the bartender wanted repeat business from me, and that’s what he’s going to get. This is the perfect place if you want to share a drink with friends and have a conversation, on a Saturday afternoon, and then again on a Sunday night, this place isn’t crowded, not offensively loud, not an idiot drunk in sight. For all of these reasons, it’s quite qualitatively different than all the other bars in the vicinity. We like to stop here before or after a show at the Oriental.

Great neighborhood corner bar. Great owner and staff. Good beer selection, beers you don’t see at every other bar. Live music on Tuesday nights. Free pool every night. What’s not to love?

I’ve only been here once and I liked it. It was a weeknight so it was pretty chill. There were people playing pool and sitting at tables drinking. There were some beers on tap that my friends were excited about. We came for trivia. I like the format where they give the answer after every question. Definitely more fun than getting all the answers at the end. Will likely be back for trivia! Also side note, they don’t have food but you can bring it in. We stopped at whole foods and Ians beforehand. :)

I come here sometimes to watch the walking dead on sundays, it’s a nice atmosphere and the crowd and staff have always been pleasant. Vintage has a chill vibe and definitely isn’t too ritzy on the inside but it’s cozy and cool!

I’ve only been here twice. The first time was probably three years ago and there was live music, so it was a different vibe. The second time my husband and I decided to check out Vintage after we found out the Hubbard Beer Garden was closed. We were on bikes and live on the East Side so we thought we’d try something new(ish). It was happy hour. I don’t know the exact hours but I do know that tappers are ½ price. I was drinking Lagunitas IPA for $ 2.50 and my husband had Riverwest Stein for the same price. It was pretty dead. There were maybe three other people in the bar. We rolled up around 5:30 and left just a little before 7. Cool place. Hope to check it out again.

The bartenders are as good as it gets at Vintage. They have awesome drink specials, the best trivia on Wednesdays, and the coolest owner. Down to earth bar where you can meet a range of people and always have a good time. The location is phenomenal, they have awesome outdoor seating, VIntage is where you want to be this evening.

I’ve been to Vintage a few times. I really like the big windows that let a light into the establishment. The staff is friendly and attentive, even during high traffic times. They have a suprisingly large beer selection and awesome beers on tap. I’ve visited Vintage the past two years during the Shamrock Shuffle and they host a wonderful hot dog stand: D Overall, very casual and chill. Even though it is a stone throw away from the ever popular North Ave bars, it is a nice place to escape from those crazy college kids and relax.

Great casual bar. Unless someone is performing, the music is at a decent enough volume that you can actually talk to your friends, and hear them too! Staff has always been friendly. What I really like about this place is that it’s a totally mixed crowd and the place has a very non-judgmental vibe going on. This is the bar that I sometimes start at on a night out with friends, or the bar that I stop at after a bad night at work. I’m glad it’s in the neighborhood :)

Descriptive phrase: cool hangout bar. I’ve been to Vintage a few times, always with a bunch of friends, and it seems like the perfect fit for a casual group drink. Pool is free, though that occasionally brings in sharks. Space is large and comfortable, with wooden tables and a lounge area and a bar. Drinks are reasonable with a comparable selection to surrounding area. Service has always been friendly, as have the varied-age patrons. Vintage isn’t breaking any mold here, but maybe that’s why it seems so enticing. Vintage is doing a casual night out for some beers right.

Vintage is a small local bar on the East side. Happy Hour specials change daily and they have a small selection of local craft beers on tap. The best part of Vintage is Free Pool! Sign up to play on the chalkboard and meet the regulars who hang out here to shoot pool. Wintertime is pool and bags league on Monday evenings starting at 7:00 pm. Tuesday karaōke, Wednesday team trivia, Thursday poker, and Friday Ladies Night. Craig and Becky are your friendly bar owners. There are a lot of bars to choose from in the East-side neighborhood, but Vintage is my favorite.

I wanna like this place so bad but something is just kind of off. Ive never had a bad experience with any aspect of this bar, but it never is on my list of places to go. Service is great. I enjoy all of the bartenders. They have an okay beer selection, though I mainly just get the PBR tallboys, since I think they’re probably the best deal. On the entertainment side of things, its not too shabby either. The ambiance is inviting. They have a bunch of flat screen TVs at the bar. They don’t have karaōke anymore, but are trying to implement live music on Tuesdays(if you are a performer, hit them up! They treat bands very well but make sure you have your own PA). And last but certainly not least: FREEPOOL. There’s only one table, but grab a drink and hang round and its certain to vacate sometime soon. Its strange that I have such nice things to say about this place but I don’t really like going here. The best reasoning I have for this is that Vintage doesn’t have its niche. Yield has loud music, Landmark has pool and darts, Von Trier has a fantastic beer selection, Two Bucks is two bucks(and those are really the only North bars I’ll go to). Vintage is nice but they don’t have a «thing» that I associate with them I hope they find it soon, because I do really like these folks.

While the atmosphere and customers are great, the staff not so much. Something about a confused, drunk bartender digging through a stack of credit cards and almost handing back the wrong one just does not sit well with me. Craig, one of the bartenders who’s at least twice my age, made a very inappropriate pass at me during one of his smoke breaks. That was the last straw; my friends and I will not be returning to Vintage.

I haven’t been here since it has changed names/owners and overall had a good experience here. The bar staff was really nice providing lots of bar snacks. This place has a good selection of beer — was quite surprised by this(don’t know why but I am.) I went here to see a friend’s band play. They had bar height tables set up and the bar area was blocked off to watch the band, which made for great views and good service. They have a pool table when you walk in and a nice long bar. I would check out this place again especially if the band plays there again.

Upgrade. You’ve earned your fourth estrella, Vintage. While«The Sweet Dee» is still hilarious and still shouldn’t be six dollars, an extra star is being added, by me, to their rating for the following reasons: –Their trivia rules pretty hard. –The karaōke(if you’re in the mood) is pretty excellent as well. –Great beer selection. –Nice folks –A pretty home-y vibe I love when I get to upgrade! Sunday night review win.
