I was pretty sure going into this that nothing could top Noho’s on Clinton. Damn though, I was wrong. The pork was just ten out of ten, sweet but not saccharine, and crunchy just where you want it to be. The fried pineapple was delicious. A fine macaroni salad. Ribs! Oh the ribs. Even the plate presentation was great. The décor was a little Spartan, but your eyes will be glued to your plate so it doesn’t matter.

This place is a whole bunch of wonderful! Their food is so flavorful and the Mac salad I crave. Genuinely nice people and the cooks help serve the food. They really try hard to make sure your food is top notch and you are attended to. And again, the food is so yummy! Aloha!

I have a craving for this yummy Macaroni salad once in a while and the Kalua Pig. Having two Hawaiians in the kitchen solidifies they’re food if staying authentic I guess. Always yummy and very fulfilling. Portions are made for big eaters like myself. Love having them as an option around the neighborhood for lunch or dinner.

First visit here, probably would not go back. There is a sign that says please wait to be seated, a lady that doesn’t smile will tell you to sit wherever though… you will wait at least 10 minutes for a menu to be thrown down on your table by an angry waitress who then just walks away, don’t worry though a friendly one will be there to take your order in about 5. You order your food and the waitress repeats what you just said so you assume you will be getting what you ordered. You realize your phone has no reception and you cannot connect to WiFi because something is blocking the signal, ok no phone… but you cannot hear the person you are trying to talk to at your own table over the kitchen. You wait about 20 to 30 minutes for your food, your appetizer doesn’t come… here comes your food, well part of it… looks great! You haven’t eaten all day and you are starving, you take a bite and it tastes mainly of salt, you try mixing the rice in but it’s also salty… salty rice? Yeah, there is a big bottle of siracha! You try to tone down the salt with the spice because you are starving and will literally try anything… it isn’t spicy… what is even in this bottle… ok, just keep trying to eat it, you are that hungry… nope! Three bites in your stomach is trying to escape from your body, you get up and try to pay as quickly as possible. You walk down the street and try to get whatever you just ingested out before you regret it later. After successfully removing said food from your stomach you sit at home almost 4 hours later regretting your poor food decision because your stomach is still upset and you are still starving. If you like salt and don’t mind indigestion you will really love the food. The one waitress was nice but doesn’t listen, the other seems not to care.

We love Ohana! I haven’t had such authentic Hawaiian food since I left home(Oahu) and this place is killer. Their prices are good, food is spot on, and they have both shave ice and POI!

This is one of my favorite places! I’m Filipino Hawaiian so grew up eating authentic dishes from Hawaii. The food taste just like my mom or grandma made! If the food isn’t enough, the staff is amazing! If you go enough times even the staff in the back will recognize you. Julia is also my favorite person and one of the biggest reasons my husband Max and I go back so many times. It’s a very quaint space as well and has a very relaxing vibe to it. I personally like that there is no service in there. It forces conversations and for phones to be turned off at meal time.

Very delicious food. I enjoyed the main charbroiled chicken dish. I ordered the large and it was a great portion size. Would have given 5 stars, but a bit pricier then I usually like. Would suggest though… was very good food.

I was in Milwaukee for the afternoon and happened upon this quaint Hawaiian café along a small section of town with a few other restaurants. I was impressed with the cleanliness of this small business as well as the service. Some of the best service I’ve experienced! Warm smiles and pleasant attitudes all around. As soon as you walk in Ohana Café, you’re greeted with wonderful smells and a calm, casual dinner atmosphere. I ordered a chicken plate; I loved their chicken. You wouldn’t think it’s hard to mess up chicken, but this chicken doesn’t taste processed and has a lot of flavor! They offer shaved ice, and wonderful dessert options. I wish they would open a Hillsboro location, this café is lovely!

The cook must be on Hawaiian time. My wife and I dined here on a Wednesday afternoon(2:00). There were diners eating at four tables and one diner eating at the bar. The rest of the café was empty. We ordered the spicy teriyaki pork and the Hawaiian Chicken Teriyaki. It took 25 minutes before our order arrived. We noticed one takeout order was picked up in that 25 minute span. I wondered what they do when there is a full house. The spicy teriyaki sauce was good — actually it was very good but it wasn’t worth the wait. The Hawaiian teriyaki sauce was so-so. I don’t see ourselves returning to Ohana.

We were so happy to finally found a place that reminds us of our time lived on the big island. Great food and great staff. We go in at least once a week and are never dissatisfied. Try to fried chicken!!! So ono!!!

I’ve been to both Ohana’s. This location is closer to us, in the SE than the Sandy location. So far, Ohana has the best Hawaiian in Portland that I’ve tried. The loco moco, short ribs, kalua pig, teriyaki chicken are all amazing. I have not have had a bad meal here. The mac salad is on point. Come with an appetite, or have leftovers for the next day. The service, is kind of lacking and hit or miss. One time I wasn’t ready to order, and our waitress didn’t come back for over 10 minutes, and there were only a couple of other tables in the restaurant. I’ve been to Hawaii many times, I think I need to go soon. For now, come check out Ohana!

The location. Lovely updated Milwaukie a block off of 99. I stumbled across this after the Farmers Market(I think one of the best in/around PDX). Interior– eh. it feels almost stripmall-ish. Very clean, lots of color but there is something sterile/missing. Lord knows they don’t need to add thatch or coconut bras to the walls. Don’t do that… there is just something cold and sterile about the interior. I’d take it over filthy and disgusting eh? My dish of choice? Macadamia nut crusted chicken Macadamia nut crusted chicken Macadamia nut crusted chicken Sure… look at the menu but you’d be a fool not to order macadamia nut crusted chicken. There. Now on to dessert– They have some original Hawaiian pie, maybe squash like or something. I dont know, I dont care. I love it. When I’m laying in bed and cant chew, blend one up for me I’ll suck it from a straw for my last dessert. Gluten free folks___they have many options for you and work hard to meet your needs. Just ask.

I came here tonight for the first time and can’t say i wasn’t impressed. I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ chicken regular size. I believe it was 8.50. It was definitely more than enough food. I had two good sized chicken breasts covered in their sauce and two scoops of rice. Not sure what the large is like if this was just the regular. It was very tasty although I’ll probably try the teriyaki chicken on my next visit to mix it up. The only downgrade is that the inside was kind of dull and the prices are kind of spendy.

ALOHA! We did take out here. I wanted something diff to-go than pizza or burritos in Milwox. I am unsure if you can call ahead, I’m sure you can. But I didn’t. Big place. Friendly staff. We got spicy pork and teriyaki chicken something or other. They came with rice and mac salad. They didn’t pack soy sauce which was a bummer and I didn’t have any on hand. The pork was spicy and thin. Delicious. I’d def go again. It was $ 20 and I got an island punch type drink. Good stuff. I’ll be back!

Great food, great people working there and a cool place to relax. Been here twice and both times I had the Kalua Pork, man that is some authentic Hawaiian! Will I be a regular? I think so, I need to sample more of the menu. Also, if you like Iced tea, you gotstago! They sweeten it with some passion fruit syrup, it is very tasty!
