Just passing through and the reviews drew us in. Amazing food, friendly people! Worth the stop. Large portions. We had the E’s burger and the Breezy and both were delish. The jalapeño cornbread bun really makes the sandwich. Got a sample of the red beans and rice and they were great!

This gas station has a great menu with the BEST hamburgers ! I love the Southwest burger, it’s spicy sweet sauce and the grilled peppers make it special. Have napkins ! Also the red and rice and gumbo are as good as it gets. ! The restaurant is clean and comfortable and the service is pretty quick.

Good place for a gas station. We had the gumbo and crawfish pies. Both are pretty good. I always rate relative to the area I’m in. I wouldn’t explore much of anywhere here!!!

WOW!!! I am not one to eat at gas stations, but when we stopped for gas, The Hubster and I were starving… we had already been on the road for 5 hours… and were pulled in by the delicious smell when we walked in. The menu that is posted here is slightly different from their current menu, but many of the items were the same. I chose the Double Porker. It had pulled pork and sausage, pickles and yummy BBQ sauce. The bread was so tender and yummy and this was one of the best sandwiches I have eaten. The Hubster chose the E’s Bacon Burger. It was served on a jalapeño bun with secret sauce… HOLYMOLY! It was freakin’ delicious!!! If you have to stop for gas, go here and then head inside for some of the best burgers this side of the Mississippi!

I came here looking for some late night dinner. I ordered a burger with some fries to go. The burger patty itself is pretty thick and I think hand made fresh. It tasted like it anyways. The bun tasted sweet and I don’t remember what exactly it was but it was tasty just not my style of bun for a burger. The ingredients were all fresh and well proportioned. The serving of fries was huge and they were fresh hand cut. Over all a pretty nice little stop in ye old town of minden.(Fyi this is located in the gas station)

For a gas station burger, this place is easily 5 star. We came in for a drink and snack on road trip. Taking the advice of the cashier, we opted for a burger and fries instead of a quick snack. First timers get $ 5 burgers. We ate Mr. E’s burger. The bread was delicious. The meat and toppings were good and fresh. No skimping on the meat. The special sauce was excellent– almost like remoulade. We will definitely come back. Friendly and quick service. Clean place.
