Minden Bowl Cafe

Holy crap. Talk about a hidden gem. Pulled off the interstate, because i wanted America… not McDonalds interstate America. Stayed at the local hotel and saw this place was open for breakfast. Boy was I glad. Its a TINY town, with nothing more than a bowling alley, a grocery store, and a few feed stores. But I am telling you, go here for a «just like mom makes» breakfast. For like $ 8 i got pop (i hate coffee) Bacon/​eggs/​hash browns/​toast. 4 slices of bacon… lots of eggs. you get the idea. Hash browns made in a skillet NOT deep fried nonsense. The lady serving was just like mom… asked where i was from… how i was doing. Its not much to look at, but friendly people (farmers sitting in the corner talking about rain and crops) and great breakfast, this is for you!
