Not that bad food, but I think the quality is too low considering the price. There are way many better thai restaurants around.

Sometimes a restaurant gets too comfortable when they serve good food. They forget WHY they are in business in the first place. They forget their customer. It is a rule of thumb that when you open a restaurant, you are look to serve ALL people, not just the ones who might look like you or the ones you like. It is my belief that customers should also follow the rule of treating the owners, waiters and staff with respect and acknowledge when they do a good job, not just complain when they do a bad job. That being said, my experience at Lemon Leaf Grill was terrible today. Were this the first time I had this experience, I probably would have written it off as a bad day. However, my family and I have stopped going to the Lemon Leaf Grill in Westbury for the same reason. I am concerned this one is going the same route. Therefore, here is my review. The food at Lemon Leaf has been very good. This day was no exception. We ordered the mini spring rolls as an appetizer before our main dish. When we ordered, I made a mental note of the fact the waiter could not muster a smile or many words when he came to get our order. I dismissed it because at the time it did not feel important. However, after we placed our order in a restaurant that had 2 tables filled before we walked in(not many people), we watched 2 more groups of people walk in, be seated, give their order AFTER ours and then they GOTSERVED. I actually watched this man(our waiter) walk around doing nothing and finally when he made eye contact with me and noticed my displeasure, a short time afterwards we received our appetizer. Not being pleased but still hoping to make the best of the situation, I made a slightly sarcastic comment saying«I was beginning to think you forgot about us». No response from the robot(sorry…waiter). This annoyed me even more and made the situation worse. Unhappy and remembering WHY we have stopped going to the Lemon Leaf Grill in Westbury, I finished my meal in silence. We paid our bill and left, will me on the fence about whether I will go again. A smile and courtesy goes a long way. For me, it will mean a bigger tip, a nice review, referrals to friends and family and loyalty that extends years into the future. I have restaurants that we will frequent and bring friends to JUSTBECAUSE the wait staff and manager is nice. While I have not crossed this location off my list totally, I am looking hard at them. I am concerned their less than cordial attitude is a symptom of a bigger problem and that would be something I will NOT tolerate. Hopefully this was a bad day and something that will not happen again. Just thought you should know… By the way, the address is 197 Mineola Blvd in Mineola. I got the previous address from my phone.
