I was really hoping this restaurant would be great. Mineral Point is a wonderful community and has had many notable eateries, but Tequila Point fell short in many areas. The atmosphere is so nice, large old hotel with high ceiling and an inviting warm fireplace. Service was poor. I had to ask for water, and after our table downed the carafe it was never refilled. Margaritas were not good. Too sweet and way too much salt on the glass rim. The mojito was better but not memorable. I had the Korean tacos. Very small bit of tasty meat with lettuce. Ok, but once again not memorable. The steak fajitas looked delicious with all the trimmings but flavor was lacking. $ 50.00 for two people and 2 drinks. Not worth the money.

Been here twice now… Wow! Attentive service; cool looking digs with actual non-sofa type real art; interesting drinks with good variety of wine and beer selections. Specialty Brisket enchiladas were to die for as were the Korean tacos and stuffed jalapeño appetizer.

Well, I just like everything about this place: the name, the location in an old corner storefront, the interior which is kind of a hip, college town feel, and all the great offerings on the drink and food menus. First, let me thank them for the real beans and rice, which accompanied my tacos, vs. the ubiquitous and disgusting, in my opinion, refried beans which always seem to come with Mexican entrees. I savored a cucumber Margarita to start. One was not enough, but I held back. I ordered the Korean tacos, because I could not pass up a kimchi opportunity in Wisconsin. It was an itty bitty portion, but a great addition to the tacos, which were very fresh and nicely presented. Service was fast, and maybe a little too fast(did I really say that?), but I did feel a bit rushed. It’s the kind of place where you’d like to feel more«at home» and relaxed rather than rushed by the server who just seems to want to be fast forwarded to her tip. I hope to return to try some of their other fresh, creative offerings.

This place was very underwhelming. My husband and I each got a different kind of margarita, and they were both so sweet that we didn’t drink much of them. The special mojito was good though. I ordered the vegetable enchiladas which were ok but nothing great. The service was slow but they were short staffed. All in just not impressed.

A little disappointing. The Korean tacos were a novel attempt at fusion, but very skimpy on the beef. Margaritas were undrinkable — super sweet, almost syrupy. Might have been a better experience without those. Not a good thing for a margarita bar. Blackberry mojito on special was much better. Long wait for food during a modestly busy dinner service, but at least the food came out hot.

Hands down, one of the best restaurants my family and I have been to in a while. Korean bbq tacos is what I ordered and it was so good I finished the whole plate. The atmosphere sets it apart from the rest with mainly Mexican artists’ work decorating the walls. Jason was our server and he was the greatest thing about our experience. He was knowledgable about the entire menu(s) and provided great conversation. And the brownie sundae is the best brownie any of us has ever had. Seriously, it’s too good to describe in words. I want to thank the entire staff for making our evening so wonderful. We will definitely return here.

We visit this amazing town annually and was pleasantly surprised to see a new restaurant! We were blown away by the atmosphere, prices and food! We ate there twice in our short 4 night stay! I highly recommend the Korean BBQ Tacos! YUMMMM washed down with a cold spotted cow! Tim who was bartending but not the normal bartender but works in the back was very personable and took time to talk to us! In fact everyone was pretty friendly! A must to do!
