I am a contractor in the area and I was working off of Sugar Camp Road today where I saw two men from the Haul-​Away-​Trash company going through customer’s trash as they were picking up the trash. As they would pick the trash up, the gentlemen were dumping the bags out into the back of the truck and taking time looking through the trash. As soon as I was able to get cell phone coverage I called the Wood County Sherriff where the woman officer told me there was nothing illegal about going through trash. I then proceeded to call the Haul-​Away-​Trash company where the gentleman told me it was none of my business.
