I can’t rave enough about this place. Things I forgot to mention in my previous review:
— It’s run by students (yes, they’re paying rent)
— It’s the only place (as far as I know) that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration for the artistically-​inclined (art installation + a band? cool beans)
— They operate on a «give & get» system – those who want to use the space to rehearse can for free so long as they put on a performance at 1419
1419 is an amazing addition to the Minneapolis community – attend an upcoming event and see what they’re all about:
