The American Red Cross leads disaster relief efforts across the country and world.
This morning I was fortunate to be invited to the Heroes Breakfast put on by the Twin Cities American Red Cross. At this breakfast they provided awards to spotlight some of our local heroes. The stories of selfless acts to help those in need (from the Bridge collapse, to saving lives during a disaster at the MN State Fair, to a young lady donating her wish from Make A Wish Foundation to another family in need, to everyday heroes) were inspiring and reminded me about the loving community we live in!
Thank you to the American Red Cross, all volunteers and especially our everyday Heroes!
