Larry is a great repairman– prompt, great communication and clearly knows his stuff. We had a fridge problem and were looking at replacing the fridge and he made a relay kit repair saving us $ 1,000+.

I cannot thank Larry with Appliance Express enough for the outstanding job he did removing the dead chipmunk from my dryer and fixing the dryer vent which another company had left unattached, creating a serious fire hazard. When I called, he was able to fit me in almost immediately, was professional and helpful, and went above and beyond the typical repair job in cleaning up a horrible mess. I recommend Larry highly and will call him again. Thanks, Larry. You saved the day.

I’ll be calling these guys again, next time I need appliance service. I called regarding our Whirlpool Duet washing machine, a machine I have been cursing, kicking and yelling at from the day we got it, due to a very(I thought) finicky electronic brain. About 50% of the time, during a wash cycle it would quit working, start beeping and not do anything else until it had been unplugged and restarted. Then, 95% of the time, it would finish its cycle normally. This machine was the result of the last Whirlpool we bought, which never worked right either, and 5 service calls later, over a period of 6 months, it was finally replaced with the current machine, so I was already not a fan of Whirlpool. The other day, it stopped working altogether, and would not ever complete a cycle, beeping and giving an error code. I bit the bullet and called Appliance Express. Whoever I talked to on the phone said to simply replace the old water intake hoses, as that was almost certainly the issue, rather than having him come out and charge us to do the same thing. A trip to Menard’s and $ 14 later, the machine works like brand new. I now owe my washing machine a big apology, and Appliance Express a big Thank You! I appreciate this kind of honest service, especially these days, when everyone’s out for a buck. Thanks again. Cameron LeCocq

My dryer broke yesterday, and we called these guys this morning. It started out awesome, we were able to get a same day appointment, just a couple hours after we called! Then, when they got to my house and knocked on my door, my dog barked.(It was put away in its kennel, on the opposite side of the room from my door. Sorry, but dogs still are going to bark when it hears the door.) He heard the dog bark, saw the sign, and didn’t even wait for us to open the door before he left. My husband called, and he flat out stated that he was afraid of dogs, and would not come into the house. There is a 0% chance of you coming into contact with my dog, because I am aware of the fact that not everyone likes dogs. I don’t care if you are afraid of dogs, or certain breeds of dogs. That is really poor customer service! Especially when my dog is put away, 50 feet from the door, with a baby gate and a kennel between you and the dog. Also, considering the dryer in question is one floor down and on the other side of the house from the dog. Do you refuse service to everyone who’s dog barks at the door?
