Bacon and Beer Classic

This was such a great event! The food was great and I ended up discovering so many new restaurants I hadn’t ever heard of. It was nice to try the local beers as well. The vendors were all so fun and friendly… they even allowed us to take a few samples of each food (because it was THAT good!). The only downside was the «vip» area didn’t have as much as I thought it would… but worth it to get in 1 hr earlier!

This was a great time! We found a Groupon that was running a promo so we ended up paying $ 40 each for the event. We went to the afternoon session (1pm — 4pm) At first the lines were long to get in but they opened up 4 gates so they went rather quickly. Once inside we grabbed our sample cups and started to the first stand. They had food samples and beer samples throughout the concourse. A majority of traffic went left so we went right to avoid the lines. I think our longest wait was about 4 minutes. Most of the vendors had a card, sticker or some kind of advertising trinket which was helpful to keep track of what we liked the most. Overall, we really have no complaints about the beer or the food and wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be going next year if they come back to Minnesota — and will be bringing many more friends with us!
