I highly recommend Ben as a guitar teacher. My son has been taking lessons with him for 5 years (age 9 – 14) and really likes him. Ben is easy going and great with kids. My son trusts him enough to get up on stage and play — something he does not love to do. He makes the lessons fun and although they do use a music book, he has his students work on a song that they pick — that helps keep them interested. As a parent — I appreciate that he has been flexible with schedule changes and good at communicating. Ben has become a friend of our family over the years just through my son’s lessons. His new studio space is really nice, convenient and has lots of street parking nearby.

I’ve been working with Ben for several months now, and I started from scratch on an electric. He is very helpful and kind, and seems to know what I should do next in order to always keep my guitar journey fun and interesting.
Ben knows all the songs and is very talented himself, but he is very focused on the student. Whole heartedly recommend him!
