This place is JANKY. Overpriced, minimal beer selection, staff that is the epitome of apathy. I NEVER see homeless people in this area. Except in the parking lot of this liquor store. Rest assured, you WILL be harassed a little bit. I don’t recommend you come here alone. The second star is only there because they sell alcohol, which the part of me that actually acts like a 23-year-old loves.

The service isn’t horrible, it’s not great but the people gets you in and out as fast as they can. They also have a good selection to choose from, especially being a smaller place, gets the job done. Parking lot sucks if you go in the evening, mostly on weekends because that’s when it gets busy. Witnessed something I wasn’t too fond of with my last experience. The cashier decided to share her thoughts with a customer about how rude it is and how much it bothers her when her customers shop and talk on the phone at the same time. She said that right in front of a customer who was on the phone, as she was walking out, and I know she could hear them.(No, it’s not me.) Yes, it may be rude to some people, but it’s not her place to be stating her opinion about how she feels with her customer’s actions while she’s on the job. Furthermore, in front of them. There were plenty of other folks in line who were listening and she could have offended anyone.

If you need to get something quick. Here’s your place. They have a very small(and dusty) choice of small brewers. And apparently they don’t close early for New Year’s Eve.

I like this store because all the employees I’ve talked to there(only been in a few times) are particularly friendly and helpful. The store is small, but they have a quality selection and it’s easy to get in and out with what you want pretty quick.

For a small municipal liquor store this does great. I have some favorite liquor stores in Minneapolis that I might travel to for something extra special, but 90% of the time I can get what I need here, in a clean, orderly place with knowledgeable employees. It was a BC Liquor employee who first recommended Lift Bridge beers which became one of my summer favorites. I don’t buy a lot of wine because my dad makes most of the reds I drink. But I have noticed BC Liquor has a good variety in the limited space they have
